Starting with five stars. Haven't used it yet, but I was so impressed with it I had to write a review. I am a Frank Sinatra impersonator and needed a nice portable stand for my small Mackie sound board. The build quality seems to be really nice. The materials are much nicer than I was expecting too. The clamps for the tripod and the shaft are made of what seems to be a heavy gauge plastic. The clamp for the table itself is all made out of metal. It is so much heavier than my speaker stands were, so I immediately went on to Amazon and bought their speaker stands too! My original speaker stands were light and flimsy and the hardware was immediately falling apart. I have made them work for the last year. They were mid to upper $30 price point and their speaker stand pair come with a case and are only $44! If they are the same build quality as this tripod table, I will be a very happy man.

Very impressed by this stand... it's a perfect match for the Monoprice Isolation Shield – they look like they were made for each other, with the thicker tubing of this stand. I have mine extended all the way up, with the Monoprice shield attached about midway and the plate rotated vertically like an easel so I can attach program notes with magnets (yes I'm low tech). The stand bends just a touch, but the Monoprice shield is pretty heavy and large, so that's not a surprise. All in all, it was the perfect choice

We have an old Panasonic data projector, the kind you would have normally mounted from the ceiling or something. It does not have the female threaded receptacle for camera tripods, and would probably be too heavy for those anyway. This stand is perfect! It's heavy duty, easy to set up and take down, portable...and its platform for the projector is just the right size. This is a very well-made product!

This is a very nicely built product. I use the stand to support my notebook computer (a Microsoft Surface) at chest height while giving stand up presentations using PowerPoint slides. This allows me to easily view my slide notes while bringing the computer (and its video cord) closer to a ceiling mounted projector. The stand is quite sturdy and stable, and is perfect for this usage.

awesome, I'm not a DJ, I'm an internet marketer...I needed somewhere to prop my laptop for livestreams and interviews. I prefer standing in my videos because it allows me to feel more energized. Anyway, this is great. I can also use it as a standing desk. Really great purchase. One minor feedback for the amazon seller is that the product didn't come with instructions and I wasn't sure how to hinge the top of the desk at first. I figured it out, but maybe you could provide instructions in the future to help people figure out how to hinge the top part of the stand.

This works for my Maschine Studio Controller, but it (the Maschine) must have the legs extended to prevent it from slipping off. The stand itself can be extended and adjusted upward. The top flat part can be tilted as well. It is very sturdy and well built, which is common with most things from the Hola! brand

First, I bought a stand (from a different Seller) for my movie projector because it was cheap ($27.99) and yep, I got what I paid for, it was flimsy and wobbly. Then I bought this Heavy Duty stand from Hola! which cost $48.95 and it's great!!! The one I bought can be adjusted between 33 and 53 inch in height, it looks great, it really is heavy duty, well made and solid, no tools necessary to assemble, just place the top onto the base and all of the adjustments are simply a matter of turning/tightening knobs which themselves are heavy duty but can be easily tightened or loosened by hand. You Adjust this stand three ways, up/down, 360 degree swivel and tilt, from flat to nearly vertical so it can be used to hold sheet music as well, although trust me, you have never seen a music stand as solid as this and there is a lip on opposite sides of the table top which is added security that will prevents laptops or movie projectors from sliding off if someone runs into the stand. Great Seller too, I love Sellers who send a follow up email to check if my order arrived on time and to make sure I'm happy with my purchase. This shows me "Hola! Music" stands by their products and they care about customer satisfaction. (I highly recommend buying this stand!!!! You won't be sorry. I hope you found this review to be helpful.)

I ordered one of these for use with my laptop, books, and various other things. The first thing that impressed me about it was its heavy and durable construction. Like another reviewer said, you could probably stand on it. The top flat part comes off completely, which is a very nice feature should you need to take it anywhere. I also like the fact that the top will swivel freely and that you can adjust the angle of the top from horizontal to nearly vertical. As you can see in the picture, the height can be set by both tightening a screw and by inserting a pin into the shaft. This makes it pretty secure and solid. It won't slip down, so you can trust your pricey projector, computer, or other gear. You can adjust the spacing of the legs pretty well too. All in all, this is a very sturdy and well built product. You can definitely trust your expensive gear to it. The only way it will fall down is if someone knocks it over. The only drawback is that they ship it in a flimsy box. Mine came a little nicked up, but that wasn't a big deal for me. If you're looking for a solidly built and high quality stand for your computer, books, computers, music, or just about anything else, look no further.

I needed a stand to hold my laptop outside while I did some astrophotography. My laptop is a dell m6500 more of a work station it is very heavy. So I wanted a beefy stand. This stand is definitely beefy. It held the laptop no problems. The surface of the stand is 11 x 15 inches and my laptop fit perfectly. It has a lip along the bottom edge so your stuff wont slide off. The guillotine part? When I extended the legs on the tripod your hand naturally grabs the leg at just the right place so that as the leg extends the cross brace on the tripod does its best to amputate your pinky. And yes I did it twice. And when I say amputate I mean if I hadn't stopped instantly I think it would have removed my pinky, as it was it took a nice chunk out. Lesson learned . I still gave this stand 5 stars because its very well made, very sturdy, and does what it is supposed to do. Just watch out for the braces on the legs as you extend them. Would I buy it again...absolutely.

I bought this stand after a lot of researching the other stands available on Amazon. I chose this stand because I wanted both quality and value. And I got it. I'm an amateur astronomer and a singer song writer and I wanted a stand that could stand up to both endeavors. For astronomy, the huge very stable tray at the top will be used to hold a rather bulky 15.6 inch Toshiba laptop computer running a Voyager Astronomy program that will wirelessly operate a big Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope throughout the night. Secondly, the stand will be used to hold either my sheet music or a computer with my songs I've written at my finger tips and an attached microphone for singing and recording. So, this stand had to be sturdy. AND STURDY IT IS! The legs of this thing are exactly the circumference of the legs on my telescope tripod. That tripod has to accomodate a telescope that weighs 75 lbs. and must be extremly stable. Stable enough to move in micron movements in order to track celestial objects with near perfect accuracy. I was surprsed when I opened the box and saw this beast! It will hold anything you will likely ever need it to! It is so sturdy that the near 1.5 inch diameter pole will only work with one tray that I finally found on Amazon because I wanted to add for a mouse when the computer is atop it or to store a capo, guitar picks, and the like when I'm doing music. That tray, in case you want to add one is the Gator Frameworks Micrphone Stand Accessory Tray with Drink Holder and Guitar Pick Tab (GFW-MIC-ACCTRAY). If you want an affordable, high quality, versatile, and sturdy mic stand (or any kind of stand) look no further. You just found it!
