These are very handy to have for a lot of tasks. So far I’ve mainly used them for rebuilding vape gear – great for holding wires in place while building an RBA, and also for twisting/braiding wires together. But they are also very handy for small engine work (I used one to hold a fuel line in place while working on a 2-cylinder engine), for retrieving things that get stuck in drains, etc. It’s one of those tools that you may buy for one specific purpose but will find many other things they are useful for. The build quality is not what you’d call “operation-ready” but more than fine for hobby work. The set includes 6 pairs, each with serrated jaws. The build quality varies from each one. For example, one of the 8 inch ones (the largest in the set) had relatively fine tips. The other had very chunky tips that were uneven in size. A few minutes with a grinder and all was well. The handles also vary with regard to how smoothly they work. Most work OK; a couple work really well; and one was rather hard to use. Again, some minor adjustments and all are working at a decent level. All appear to be made of stainless steel. Although there were problems with these I’m still going to give them 5 stars given the price. I was not expecting top-shelf quality for this low of a price, and the quality of the ones I received was better than expected. They are a great match for hobby and utility work, and you can get a full set of 6 for very little money.

I use these for pulling up weeds! I had the brilliant (I thought) idea of buying kelly clamps to pull up weeds between stone pavers after I took off my garden gloves because I couldn't get a good grip on small weeds, and then got dirt and skin cracking. I tried needle nose pliers which worked for a while but then thought Kelly clamps would be perfect. I found these on Amazon used which fit my intended purposes quite well. I have now used them several times and they are perfect for the job. Wish I had thought of this sooner.

The set includes an 8" straight & curved pair, a 6 1/4" straight & curved pair & a 5 1/2" straight & curved pair. The 5 1/2" set has serrated jaws from its tips inward, as all the other sizes do but a 1/2" long inner section of both jaws, on both the 5 1/2" straight & curved hemostats, are not serrated. This makes them better for clamping more fragile items like flexible fuel lines & soft copper wires, without damaging them. I got my set from the Amazon vendor, Vetmed; I don't know if this jaw characteristic is true for other vendors' products. The 2 smaller sets are stamped with "S S Pakistan CE" indicating they are stainless steel, made in Pakistan & European Community approved. They have a highly polished finish. The 8" set has a brushed, semi-matte finish & no stamps. You are not going to use these hemostats for human heart transplants but they are reasonably well made & finished & very functional. I did a difficult repair of a vacuum cleaner that required inserting a small spring into a tight area. I was able to compress & lock a section of the spring, hold it square & insert it into the holder easily. I was unable to do this with any of many long or needle nose pliers, including vise-grips, that I own. The low profile jaws can reach into tight areas & the easy locking & releasing jaws are like having a 3rd hand. I did realize my need for a pair with smooth jaws all the way to the tips, so I bought a pair of "Smooth Jaw Needle Holder Forcep 5" AKA Webster Needle Holder" sold elsewhere on Amazon.

So far they've been great... they don't look or feel so delicate once you see them... You can definitely see their flaws... They're priced right on point.... Great for precision work.. Used them to remove a strong stubborn snap ring from an old ratchet. It handle all the small paws and tiny springs inside of it nicely. They did slipped out a couple of times though... I just used the tools at my disposal.. :)

These work great for help stringing necklaces together. Just the three smallest ones are skinny enough at the tip. The work well.

Nice set of clamps. I purchased these because I needed the 8" clamp to clamp a fuel line while depressurizing the efi system. I will use the others for various rc and hobby uses. All will be kept in my tool box in the garage so light coat of oil will be used to prevent rust regardless if the stainless is pure or not. For $2 a clamp why cry about little spots of rust. If you want surgical grade pay for it. Otherwise take care of the tool. Nothing worse than people who spend a dollar and think they should get a $100 tool. No I did not receive any discount for this review just tired of the whining.

Better than expected quality and a nice set. All close well and work smoothly. Nice size selection. I use them for fishing, soldering, gluing, etc.. they are just handy and the mix of curved and straight works well. This was a good purchase.

These worked great for performing a medical procedure on my ingrown toenail. These aren't sterile so I advise an good cleaning in a hot dishwasher and then wiped down with a water bleach solution before using on any open wounds or cuts.

These have a little more ‘give’ than hospital-grade hemostats, but are still quite substantial. The gripping teeth do their job. The locking bar works well. My hubs has a set to add to his workbench; I have a set to use with sewing, quilting, & all kinds of crafting, as well as in my garden. Well worth the price & would definitely buy again!
