Perfect spinning flag-pole... FINALLY!

Far exceeds my expectations and hopes! This spinning flag-pole will hold a large (3x5) flag against a strong south/southwest wind, and will prevent Old Glory from furling on the house gutter or being damaged. Also recommend it to be paired with the Anley Multi-Position Flag-Pole Mounting Bracket for a crisp, clean, display appearance.

It's a grand old flagpole!

Wow, was I impressed when I got this flagpole. I did comparison shopping for similar products on the Target, Home Depot and Walmart websites, and the flagpoles were far more expensive and don't do what this one does. The top part of the flagpole rotates to prevent the flag from tangling. It also comes with a removable plastic clip so the flagpole can be used with either flags with two holes; or flags that only have a tab at the top. I'm truly happy with this purchase.

This by far is the best flag pole I've ever owned. Does exactly what it's supposed to. It got really old untangling my American Flag every time the wind blew and moderate to high winds are frequent here in West Central Illinois. You can't go wrong with this pole, just be sure to attach your flag properly to it and you're good to go. Highly recommend.

Always have your flag unfurled with this product

I have a 5 foot flagpole next to my front door, and the area is a real wind tunnel. Our flags were constantly getting wrapped over the pole until nothing at all was hanging down. Needless to say, this defeated the purpose of even hanging a flag at all. We tried various methods to weigh the flag down itself, but nothing worked for more than a day or two. I did some browsing online, and learned that spinning flagpoles would solve the problem. This one was in the size and color I wanted, and was very affordable, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Just like that, problem solved. I've had this in use for about 3 months now, and my flag is almost always hanging straight down with no problems. Even in very strong wind, the flag remains in the proper position. About the only time it isn't in position is when we have a wreath or something else hanging up; then, sometimes a loose fiber might get caught, and we have to un-snag it. But I would say 99% of the time my flag is now maintenance free. I would definitely purchase again. Thank you!

Yes - this *is* the flag pole you have been looking for.

Yes. Yes. Yes. This has made my life so much easier. Over the past week since I have put it up, I haven't had to unwind my flag once. Actually - that's not true - I did have to unwind it once. Only the top half of this pole rotates, so it's important that both corners of your flag are attached to the rotating part of the pole. I mistakenly attached the bottom corner of my flag to the bottom, non-rotating part of the flag pole. Human error (and kind of a dumb one). Additionally, my old setup didn't have clips - it only had those weird plastic clamp-things with the plastic screws, so every time I wanted to change flags I had to unscrew everything. We are sports pilgrims in an unholy land - so we change our flags frequently based on who is playing. I can easily do that now with this setup. The pole is extremely light-weight and I will be interested to check its durability in the long-run (and in super windy conditions), but it does exactly what is says it does - and it looks a LOT better than the boring metal rod I was using. Big fan.

No tangles.

This is the BEST flag pole I have ever had. I did not believe the "no wrap" because my other ones have said that too. We get really heavy winds near the shore in Delaware. -No tangles.

No more tangled flags!

It works! My flag pole no longer gets tangled. It comes with clips so you can easily swap between different flags. It also allows you to adjust the position of the bottom clip so you can use different flag sizes. It is a little pricey compared to a cheapy flag pole and I was disappointed to find out it didn't come with a holder, but I believe it is worth it for the time spent untangling my flag on a daily basis.

the BEST! I've tested many

This is the best flag pole I've ever bought. I've bought a lot of them but what sets this one apart is it's strength against winds and especially it's rotating pole that prevents the flag from tangling. With other poles I would have to untangle my flag at least once a day. Since this one has been up for over a week, I haven't once had to untangle the flag.

A Sturdy Flag Pole That Keeps Old Glory Waving Proud

This flag pole is well made and very nice looking. I've paired it with a bracket from FlagBracketPA.com which allows me to mount the pole to my vinyl posts without drilling holes. The flag pole is sturdy. I've observed its performance in high wind gusts that made it look like it would break. It simply withstood the force of the wind. I've also observed it spin/rotate when the flag was wrapped around it. The flag unfurled and continued to wave full and proud

Excellent non-tangling pole

Extremely happy with this pole. I had a solid pole with rotating rings prior to this. I had May issues with the top ring binding while the bottom ring would pivot around the pole. The result was a flag that I would have to unroll several times a day if the wind was blowing. With this pole, the 2 ends are guaranteed to pivot together so no more wrapping of the flag. The only issue I've seen is when the end of the flag gets caught up over the poll. I simple tug or even a light breeze will bring it right back to normal. I do wish the pole was a heavier gauge of material. The thumb screw has gone right through it in my holder. Not a big enough issue to cause me to give this less than 5 stars.
