Easy to Install

The orange surround on my VERY old Cerwin Vega VE-12 speakers finally deteriorated. I bought a replacement / repair kit (new surrounds, glue); but managed to totally screw that up. These new speakers come with the orange surrounds already glued the metal rim of the speaker, so installation was a snap. One note: You'll want to keep and use the black, plastic rings and screws that hold the speakers to the wood frame. I didn't bother to glue the black, plastic rings to the new speakers' orange surround; and just screwed the rings down nice and tight.

Got what I expected,they're cerwin Vega's! Rebuilt my D7s you will need a sub. I recommend the XLS-12S Powered sub the three blend very well. If you like good music get em! and I have nothing against rap,hip hop or heavy metal these are just not suited for that type of music.

Just what I never knew I needed. ;)

I blew the woofer out of one of my re series so I bought a pair of mtx double 12’s they were great for rap (They are some bass monster’s)but as soon as I put some metal on it was clear to me I needed my Vegas back! So I order this woofer and put a psw 505 sub under it and my set up is again ready for anything I throw at it!!:)))) the bolt pattern is a little different then my re Series woofer was but easy enough to drill the holes.
