Twice as fun!

I really enjoyed these cards! I play cards with friends and family on a weekly basis. We've used these cards a few times and it has definitely made playing more fun. They have a really nice quality to them and don't seem to tear easily. They have some sort of protective coating on the cards. Shuffling is the only hard part but that is expected with the cards being so big! :)

Use as a Fun(ctional) Guestbook

We threw a Vegas-themed retirement party for my boss, since he loves going there so much, and instead of going with a traditional guestbook we spread these jumbo cards across a table upon which each guest could scribble a little personal message. It was a huge hit - even with 52 cards we almost didn't have enough, because when someone works in an office for 24 years I guess you collect a lot of friends. Using a fine-pointed sharpie pen worked well enough for the cards' texture and surfacing. There's plenty of white space on cards these size. He collected the deck and took it home with him, so whether he actually uses the cards to play or they just sit on a shelf, at least there's a chance they may be useful. And if not, the pack is very compact and takes up little space. Worked out very well for us.

I bought these cards to play a Hi/Low game whereby ...

I bought these cards to play a Hi/Low game whereby a group of people would have to decide whether the next card turned would be higher or lower. The 5 x 7 size cards meant that everyone could see each card turned from a distance and they fitted perfectly on the board I hand made to hold two rows of up to 6 cards per row. To buy a similar game using these size cards and accompanying board was going to cost me over $100 to buy/ship from europe. Buying them locally on Amazon the cards cost $7 and the board cost $17 to make - huge saving.

Awesome Playing Cards

These cards were a "big" hit this year for Christmas for my niece and nephews who are in elementary school. I also bought a set for someone turning "60" as a fun gag gift and she loved them.

I really enjoyed the playing cards. The numbers were huge as well as the face cards. They were glossy but could've been a little more sturdy or thicker. Overall, everything met my expectations. I'd recommend them to other people.

These cards are great for use in a nursing home

These cards are great for use in a nursing home. Large cards are easier to hold and our senior citizens who have failing eyesight can see the cards without any help or coaching. I would recommend them to anyone.
