This product saved me 1,200. I purchased 6 leather parson bar stools at $200 each to accommodate my high legged dinning set about 7 years ago. I loved my dining set. I then adopted a cat a year ago that destroyed the leather on each and every chair. I was all set to purchase more chairs after getting my cat declawed. The chairs are still sturdy and firm. I came across these covers and decided to give them a try. I am soooo happy with the initial impact of these covers. It looks like I have brand new cloth chairs. The back to my chairs are not as high as these covers go so there is a small amount of excess material on the back at the bottom, but you can't even see it unless someone points it out. I would recommend this to ANYONE who has parson chairs or stools that need to cover them. You can't even tell it is a cover. It looks like the original chair.

I ordered "white" and they are truly bright white. I would have preferred a slightly less bright white but I cant be picky with ready-made items :) They fit well and so far they do stay put. I ordered a set of 2 and they are indeed slightly different in size but it is not noticeable when on the chairs. I like the vintage upholstery on my chairs but they were looking old and the dogs were causing pulls in the fabric. I also think they were a bit busy for my kitchen area. The chairs are very solid and sturdy so I didnt want to replace them with the cheaper furniture made today so these covers updated the look quite well. I dont expect them to last very long, but for the price I can replace them every 6 months or so easily. I may get a set of black also to change them out when I want :) All in all I would say they are definitely worth the money.

These were the dining room chair CUSHION covers only. They are easy on, easy off, look GORGEOUS, and even if they fell apart the first washing, would be worth the price for the beauty and ease of giving my chairs a brand new look and feel. I haven't gotten to wash these yet, but I LOVE these! The quality, material & elastic seems to be **very, very good**, so I highly doubt washing these will hurt them. 2.5 minutes to "recover" 4 dining room chairs, and they look showroom new! Highly recommend! After spending 5 hours recovering my DR Chair covers in the past, and having the cushions get stained even after Scotch guarding them - these are the Best thing since sliced bread!! These are perfect! I received them in the mail today and they were better than expected. The material is very durable, not flimsy, and it has incredible stretch. I did not strain or fight to get them on, It took 30 seconds or less. They completely covered my red chairs and we’re very pleasing to the eye. They look so natural that my son thought I had bought new chairs! These were originally purchased just to match my Halloween purple and black table but I think I will keep them on year round. Perfect for messy little eaters, they are easy to take off and throw in the washer!

My favorite purchase!

It is RARE that I search out a product I have purchased to review. In this case, it is my favorite purchase in forever. First, this product is exactly as it is described. It has the measurements of the chair it should fit. It has great pictures. It has a nice texture. Wait until you get these...you will be so pleased. Four of them were about $30.00 USD, and eight were $60.00 USD. Great price! I have 8 fairly expensive chairs similar to the chair pictured. They were all beginning to have their finish tear or flake away. These chair covers look awesome on the chairs, they fix exactly, and they cover the very unsightly cracking and peeling on the actual chair. I am so delighted with this purchase!

Everything I Hoped For

I love these! I previously had the Sure Fit covers, which ripped in the first wash. These covers are flexible, sturdy, and look great on my chairs. I am very happy with this product.

Subrtex Hits The Mark, Again! Perfect!

Perfect! I bought these because we have large, beautiful dining chairs that have gotten stained over the years by our kids. In the future, they will be recovered, but it's not worth it at the moment. I had really good luck with the subrtex sofa slipcovers, so I went with their brand. The only thing that worried me was the size of our chairs. I really thought they may not fit, but they do! I purchased the burnt orange color because it had a funky mid-century vibe, but it wasn't too over the top. Growing up, we had two chairs and a sofa from the 50's or 60's in this exact color, so it brings back good memories. I'd totally buy them again, in fact I'm about to purchase the off white / ivory color that matches our sofas, for the spring and summer.

Great alternative to custom made slipcovers at a great price!!

We had six upholstered italian import dining chairs and the cotton fabric was faded and stained, I am a designer and have a upholstery shop that wanted $75 per chair to fabricated fitted slipcovers (plus the fabric would be about $200-300 more) I saw these on line and wondered how they would look and work , the color was a perfect fit for me) After receiving these and installing them...they are very stretchy and fit well on the chairs, I was amazed how great they look and fit. Best $50 I ever spent (don't know how they can be sold for the price. They fabric resembles stretch chenille type nubby fabric and looks great. If you find a color that works for you I would certainly recommend these.

We recently moved and our new home doesn't have a "formal" dining room. Fine with me as our table and chairs were not a formal dining set. Our table and chairs are 20 years old and the chairs are white vinyl seats and back. After all these years the seats are very worn so thought I'd try these. They work beautifully! The only problem I had, which has nothing to do with the product, is my chair backs are rounded, not square, so I had to sew the corners in to round the chair back. Easy enough to do and now they fit perfectly.

Very impressed for the price

I bought these covers for my dining area chairs as I am trying to tone down all of the brown wood in my house to more neutral tones. My chairs have a padded bottom cushion but no back cushion, just wood. These covers went on very easy. They are a bit loose as I am sure they are made for a chair that has a back cushion. If your chair as a back cushion I’m sure they would fit much more snug and look much more fitted, but I don’t mind the slip covered look at all. They are a little long on the back of my chairs, but probably wouldn’t be if the chair had padding n the back. For less than $7.00 a chair, I think these are great. There is no red tag on mine, that some of the reviewers mention, so I am pleased about that. Winner!
