Excellent Thread Produces Beautiful Embroidery!

I purchased this thread to use with my Brother SE400. I have used about 20 of the 63 spools and have not had any problems with thread breaking. Any issues I have had while using my machine were due to user error. I've only had one issue with one particular spool of red thread -- I could not find the loose end of the thread and ended up cutting into it. It does come packaged with some of the spools of thread turned upside down / facing other spools. This doesn't bother me as I have my spools stored on a wooden rack similar to this --> 120 Spool / Cone Wood Thread Rack - By Threadart - 3 Sizes Available. I'm very pleased with this thread and intend on purchasing more Simthread products in the future.

Good thread, treat yoself

I was trying to use Coats & Clark embroidery thread I bought at JoAnns for use with my Brother PE-770, and it kept breaking. After a frustrating night of thinking something was wrong with how I was using the machine, I searched the internet for answers. I read several other people complaining about the cheap thread, so I went searching for high quality embroidery thread. I found this stuff, and every review is positive (besides people complaining that half the box is upside down... wtf). I've been using this to embroider my own custom designs and it is holding up wonderfully. It will go for an hour and thousands of stitches without breakage. Best of all, I am no longer frustrated and blaming myself. Would highly recommend this thread.

Great quality embroidery thread

I have a brother pe770 machine and have had issues with threads in the past so I was only buying from Joann Fabrics for a long time. Well, I looked at the reviews on this and gave it a shot. Joann's is expensive even with coupons. So far, I am very happy with the thread. I have not had any issues at all with it and my machine. The quality is great and what an amazing deal! Plus they added some pre wound bobbin threads. They give you a brother color chart as well which is a nice plus so you can get that perfect color. This was a great buy and I'm very satisfied.

Definitely worth a try

Because I’m new to machine embroidery I decided to purchasethis this inexpensive thread to learn and practice. I have THE Dream Machine Innov-ís XV8500D and I don’t have any problems with this thread. It’s shiny, it doesn’t Fray. You may want to take a black marker and write the number and color on the side/bottom of the thread because The sticker with thread number is on the bottom... so instead of lifting each thread and checking the number you’re just look at the side, trust me this will make your life easier. This thread doesn’t come with the wooden spool holder, you have to buy it separately. Also the thread in the box is not in color/number order... The color chart that comes with the thread doesn’t make sense to me. Let say numbers between 600 and 700 are for colors in violets family but then there’s 804 lavender and 810 lilac...? So if you sort them by color you can sort them with numbers because it will not make sense .. oh well :/ like they say each machine is different mine likes that thread.

What an awesome deal!

Received my thread very quickly. Colors are beautiful with several shades of most colors. A lot of thread per spool. A little slow to ship but once shipped received within 24 hrs. I enclosed both a picture of outside and inside of of box upon arrival. Every other spool is upside down but it's simple to turn over and check out the colors. All spools are labeled with the matching brother color number. Nice to have such variety of colors for the price. Highly recommend to anyone just starting out with an embroidery machine.

My Machine Embroidery group wants to buy this now!

Update: went to m first embroidery class where I bought my machine. The instructor was a professional seamstress and had an embroidery business outside the shop where I bought my machine. She was contracted to teach the class. After the class she saw me putting up my thread and started asking me questions on where I bought such high quality thread in a nice variety of colors. When I told her Amazon and the price I paid she was absolutely shocked. She told me that was very good thread at an amazing price and took down the information so she could buy some and tell others. Considering this was my first thread purchase as a new user, I'm definitely buying again after getting so many nice comments from expert users! I'm a new embroidery machine user and bought this because it gave me a nice variety of colors to start with. I belong to an embroidery group that meets once a month to do embroidery together and they told me to get rayon because it's shinier and this is polyester but such a good deal I bought it anyway. I took it to my embroidery group yesterday and they were amazed at the quality of the thread and how shiny and pretty it was-they really thought it was rayon. They calculated the cost per spool and said I got a better deal than they have ever gotten on thread and these ladies are experienced embroider machine users. Now they want to buy this thread for their use. I felt good knowing these experts validated this was a great purchase. I liked the fact it is packaged in a nice size box that I can take with me to our group meetings every month and I have every color I need for my projects. I highly recommend this thread for anyone starting out their thread collection or wanting to add a lot of great colors at an affordable price.

My order of Simthread 63 Brother colors arrived yesterday, I was so excited to get this as I just bought an embroidery machine last week and had minimal colors to work with. I immediately began to use it and the quality is very good, I embroidered three different, complicated designs with no breakage and minimal thread dust. The colors match the codes for my Brother machine. I do wish there were a way to order individual colors as well, but the quality and the savings are GREAT, Thank you Simthread!

Good selection of colors.

We are using this thread in a Duetta 4500D sewing and embroidery machine. These embroidery threads come well packaged and include a color chart to match up with .pes embroidery files if that's what you use. (.pes are file extensions). You also get a sample of some kind of stabilizer but it doesn't show a brand name or anything on it. The spools are about two and a quarter inches tall (2 1/4") and are one and a half inches wide at the base. (1 1/2"). Sorry, we're not speaking metric today. 😃 This width allows you to put them side by side on those wooden spool holder racks that are for sale all over the place. Some of the colors run fine without babysitting but once in a while a thread will hit a spot where it breaks or shreds a few times and you have to re-thread and clean it out. Just have to keep an eye on it

The next best thing to Madeira rayon

Hesitated to buy this and because I was lusting over Madeira rayon. But I just couldn't afford it so I bit the bullet and bought this set instead. I just embroidered for 7 hours straight and there was not a single breakage. The threads are nice and shiny and colorful. Simthread will never zbeat Madeira, but it is a good close second.

Fast Delivery with Extra Bobbins and Stabilizer include in the Box

Fast delivery. I opened the box and surprise, there were 10 bobbins 5 already with thread on them and 4 feet of stabilizer included with the embroidery thread. I haven't used the thread because I am still waiting to receive my embroidery machine so I can't review the quality of the thread yet. I didn't see anything in the description about the bobbins or the stabilizer and this will come in handy for me as this is my first embroidery machine.
