Works well

I have 2 of these at one customer site delivering microwave signal over OM3 MM. No problems at all. They work great with the included OEM SFP, or using a "universal" SFP. One unit is in an equipment room at about 85F, the other one in an outdoor enclosure that runs from 32F to 120F. No issues so far (10 mos.)

Ran about 300 foot of fiber optic cable with one of these at each end. Worked perfectly out of the box without having to make any changes to the unit itself. Only note that I would tell you is to be sure and use a gigabit switch as other posters have said.

Reliable, no brainer, network extension method.

I have used several of these for remote devices that are well beyond 328 feet and needed a solid cable connection. If you are looking for a cost effective mm fiber to copper converter, these are it.
