I found it hard to believe that this product would REALLY keep moisture out of the new mattress since it wasn't the typical loud plastic cover. Boy, was I wrong!! It is 100% waterproof and is quiet as can be while moving around in the bed. My five year old loves it so much more than the old one! Happy daughter, happy mom!! I would recommend to everyone! Especially those who are struggling through occasional bed wetting accidents with their little ones at night. It's machine washable and line dry.

I've purchased many of these to protect mattresses in the past. Even with two people, they can be difficult to maneuver depending on the mattress. We have seen them tear easily and zipper failure is almost always a given. What a pleasant surprise at this price to receive this cover! Heavy enough plastic to 'give' and not tear, plenty of room for larger mattresses and zero zipper issues. We will definitely purchase this brand when needed.

I made an outdoor cushion for the orbital lounger on my dock. During a storm, the cushion blew off into the salt water. The cushion had to have been in the water for at least 10 hours and was still dry. It held up even though we found it about 20 docks away. I was very impressed with the strength. Of this product .

LinenSpa mattress protectors are awesome. I have a couple of them, one on each bed and one on a fold out futon cushion. My daughter has spilled her bottle of milk on them, peed through her diapers on them, and my hubby spilled his Gatorade on them (even though I told him NOT to drink that in the bed!) and our mattresses have been saved each time! They don't make noise and you can't tell it is there. Will continue to buy this brand if our current protectors wear out I guess.

I really love these covers (I bought one for each bed in the house!). I thought we had bedbugs, which was a false alarm, but I'm very pleased with the covers so far! First, they aren't "platic-y" at all, so no crinkling sounds as you sleep or difficulty keeping the fitted sheet in place. Second, they are actually water impervious. We had our niece sleep over, and she's "mostly" potty-trained. There was an accident, but I was SO impressed--the mattress was completely protected! (Note: I did think the cover felt "wet" at first, but I wiped it with a paper, towel, and it was completely dry.)

I was a little leary of buying a mattress cover because I was afraid it might be noisy or uncomfortable. It hasn't made any difference except now I can wipe the cover down weekly when I do my laundry. I love not having to worry about dust mites and such...and liked it so much I went and bought a second one for a family member!

I was unbelievably lucky and got a literal 4 bug infestation. I was able to hunt and kill 3 of the bed bugs myself but I scared the 4th into the deep corners of my box spring. I put this on and the bites have vanished. Best of luck to anyone who's less fortunate than I!

My grandmother has a horrible infestation of bed bug that I've been fighting for a while. She is frugal and would not buy a new mattress so I purchased these for her bed and box spring. She noticed no temperature change, they are slightly noisy, but not enough to bother even a light sleeper. I expected more of a cotton topping, but the polyester is ten fold better than the cheap vinyl one I purchased a few years back. It is bigger in size, so I fit her mattress and her foam mattress topper in with no problems. I'm only 4'11 so the biggest ordeal was picking up the actual mattress. Best of all, she said to me this morning, this is the first night and day, she has NO itching whatsoever. I'm so thankful.

We battled bedbugs in our house for at least 6 months before finally hearing from a professional that we needed to encase our mattress & boxsprings so whatever pests remained would be unable to feed. Apparently bedbugs can live up to 1 year without a meal (UGH) so we'll be keeping these on long term and will be the first thing we put on any new mattress or bedspring going forward forever.

We unfortunately dealt with a bed bug problem during the holiday's. We ordered the encasement's for a queen bed and pillows and a twin bed and pillow after we were treated with heat to kill the darn irritating bugs. They work great and have a guarantee. Very good quality.
