A must have for any Ring neywork
I have a number of ring devices, from the doorbell to stickup cams, the chimes I have located around my house serve a number of purposes. The Chime in my home office is linked only to the doorway ring, with a different ringtone notification so that I know when someone has arrived, where the other chimes are connected to all the ring devices which the dogs have a tendency of setting off out back, this way I can easily tell if someone is at the front door for sure without checking my phone. Thanks to the fact that these are wireless, I am able to place them anywhere in the house, and thanks to the fact that each chime can have different notification sound for motion and ringing, and can be linked to the Ring devices of your choice, this allows for great customization in the home.

Ring Chime
This is super easy to install and have running in no time. I purchased the Ring doorbell with this. The Ring doorbell only has sound at the doorbell. I added this to the inside of my home so I knew when someone or something caused motion and I couldn't hear the doorbell, especially when I was in a place that I couldn't hear it from outside. It contains the ability to change the sounds/chimes with both motion as well as when someone rings the doorbell. It pairs quickly with Ring doorbell. I like this because it keeps me from receiving false alarms to my phone. Simply plug it into an outlet, pair with the Ring app, choose your sound and that's it. If you have a Ring Doorbell, I highly recommend this to add the alerts in a spot you cannot hear the outside only alarm.

Works fine for us
When we first installed our Ring Pro we did away with the antiquated wiring for our existing doorbell and figured we could do without a traditional doorbell and just use our phones and tablets. That plan didn't work out as well as we had hoped, so we bought this. One thing other folks have said about the Ring Pro is that there's extra latency between the button-push and the activation of the mechanical chime. With this, there's no such issue - the button push is followed immediately by the chime. The other advantage to this system is that a mechanical in-circuit chime can have an impact on the power quality for the Ring (particularly the Pro, which doesn't have a battery). Not having a hard-wired chime and using this instead means that the power remains consistent. The only complaint we have is that the blue light that ostensibly shows the setup mode is almost too dim to see. It's quite challenging to discern what the light is doing at any given moment. Configuring the Chime for your WiFi is done the same way as all other Ring products. That said, I wish Ring would investigate the newer iOS embedded device configuration system(s) that other app/device combinations use. I've been able to set up other embedded devices without exiting the app and switching to its special WiFi network and so on. There are devices whose setup consists solely of turning on the device and holding your phone nearby. Ring would do well to investigate this, as it's a much better user experience. You can configure the Chime to make noise on either the button-push or on detected motion from any other Ring device. It would be nice if Ring would expand their ecosystem to be a complete part of an IFTTT system, and even nicer if they'd allow more than two (and perhaps fully customizable) sounds to be available at one time. But for what it is - as opposed to what it could be - it does exactly what it needs to do, and we haven't had any trouble with it.

Ring is simply the best. Doorbell Pro, Range-Extender/Chime, Chimes & Spot Cams
I am committed to the Ring product line. We own 3 Ring Doorbell Pro units, 3 spot cams, one Range-Extender/Chime and 2 Chimes. The system was easy to install and setup; and it works well. Ring product support is fantastic; literally the best of any company that I have ever dealt with. I have used both email and phone support. The phone wait time is probably less than 2 minutes, and the technicians are friendly, helpful, and extremely considerate. I had followed security cams/doorbells & the ring product line development for about 2 years before I made the commitment. I started with one Ring Pro doorbell, added the range extender and chimes, 6 months later. Last month, I purchased the other Ring products. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RING.

Ring Chime, A Wi-Fi-Enabled Speaker for Your Ring Video Doorbell
I ordered the Ring Chime, A Wi-Fi-Enabled Speaker for Your Ring Video Doorbell to compliment my new Ring Doorbell. As many Ring Doorbell Owner's probably know, the sound volume out of your Ring Doorbell is less than spectacular. So, while the camera is great for peeping on the neighboorhood, it does not do well when someone rings it! Here is where your Ring Chime, A Wi-Fi-Enabled Speaker comes in. You can place it anywhere in your home you need to hear the doorbell clearly, and it will ring loud and clear. Plus, it comes with a whole bunch of extra sounds you can choose to suit your mood. Sets up in minutes and integrates easily with all Ring Doorbell types.

Convenience and an increased sense of security.
I'm very pleased with the Ring Chime, I especially like the barking dogs and the Westminster Chimes. It was startlingly easy to set up, and installing was merely plugging it into a wall outlet.Ring Video Doorbell 2Ring Chime Pro, Indoor Chime and Wi-Fi Extender ONLY for Ring Network Devices The Ring Chime Pro Extender was used because I needed to boost the signal to the Ring Chime, which is in an upstairs bedroom; I love all three products. I'm 83 and set up and installed them all without assistance. All are working as advertised. I had to purchase an extra battery because I was having such a good time watching the construction across the street from my house; that was a little hard on the battery that came with the Ring Video Doorbell 2. The battery charge will undoubtedly last longer once I get used to the equipment and stop snooping on the street activity and my neighbors. (I had no idea so many people were out walking dogs.) I gave a Ring Video Doorbell Pro to my older brother, who's not as spry as I am and has difficulty moving about. Now he can answer the door without getting up from his chair. His old doorbell is hard wired, so he won't have to worry much about changing batteries. In short, I am pleased and happy with all the Ring products I purchased. No complaints at all. I can't send a video or photo because the battery is being charged right now. I highly recommend each Ring product I bought.

Nice extension besides your cell phone Ring .
I like the size of this wi-fi ring chime. Different ring tones you can choose from and volume adjustment. Responds as soon as the Ring doorbell button is pushed on the front door. Can be heard anywhere in my home.

Ring a ding ding- go buy the Ring!!!
I recently purchased the Ring floodlight and the Ring Chime. They were a breeze to install and only took about 30 minutes to get them up and displaying 1080p video on my new Note 8 phone. The installation is very user friendly and if you already have an existing floodlight , it is really easy to swap out the lights. The chime unit is loud and all you have to do is plug it in and follow the simple online instructions to set the wifi and sound you want it to play...You can even log in to your Ring floodlights on Any computer... the only downfall i have found is you can't control the videos from your computer. You can only see what has already been activated and recorded so there is a slight delay.. but of course you can control the floodlight system from your smart phone...I LOVE this system and plan to get the Ring doorbell as soon as I save up the money... thanks Ring....

Love these.
Our house is large and open and our doorbell chime was never very loud. I've installed one of these in our master bedroom and one downstairs and now the door bells is well heard. I also love that you can adjust the chimes volume independently when you have multiples. They show up in the application as separate devices which you have given names to. You can also go in the application to "test the volume" from across town when you need to wake someone up! Bonus!
