Better product than you think.

This mount is much stronger than the one that came with our fifth wheel. No issues holding the spare tire. While I thought it was flimsy and cheap, it is heavier than the factory mount, and much stronger. As long as you are only holding a spare tire to the bumper, this mount will work just fine.

Just what I needed

I needed this when I upgraded my teardrop trailer from 12” wheels to 15” and found the spare only had 2” ground clearance. Changed it out and now I have a good 9” clearance for the spare. Had to put a spacer underneath as the tongue of the trailer is only 2.5”, just get a piece of bar stock at Home Depot or somewhere and slide it between the u-bolts and the botton of the frame.

Better than factory!

I took a trip this summer to a desert location, and somewhere off road, I lost my spare, and most of the factory bracket. The welds had broken off and left my new spare somewhere. I bought this to replace it. I have taken 4 trips to the same location and no signs of damage! Like the tilt down feature too.

Worked great for 14” travel trailer tire

Worked perfect for spare tire on bumper. Some people complained about it being loose when in the up position. I tightened the lower bolt, where the arm pivots, to make it more secure.

I really wanted to use this on my travel trailer. Just wouldn't work for my set up. (Got in the way of my bike rack) It is a solid product with an easy install. I was able to return it without any issues.
