Works great; vendor unhelpful but manufacturer replaced it!
This item is perfect for my rotator cuff injury. My Physical therapist suggests sitting with back to the door, and that is great for me. I originally ordered one of each kind, but the knotted strap kept falling out of the old door in my daughter's old house. Soymedical, the vendor, just sent me a form letter. However, I had read the enclosure which said satisfaction guaranteed. I emailed the manufacturer and got an immediate response. They sent me a replacement within days. Wonderful customer service from the manufacturer, though not from the vendor.

My Lifesaver!
I used this for weeks in my PT after major rotator cuff repair. My physiotherapist recommended I get one for home. I read the positive reviews and ordered one. My range of motion improved so much due to this simple pulley! I took it traveling for a week and it was easy to use over doors everywhere we stayed- then I didn't miss too much therapy. I have now graduated past this excellent tool and will bring it to PT to donate. For the price, it is worth its weight in gold for the range of motion it will help you achieve. Good luck in your shoulder rehab!

Simple, Effective and Priced Right
What can one say about a product that consists of five parts. A polyester cord, 2 plastic handles, a short piece of webbing and a nylon and metal pulley except they work well together. My wife has acquired what's better referred to as a "Frozen Shoulder" and her physical therapist recommended they type of item to help her recover. From my 'research' it became apparent that the main challenge for this type of product is the pulley and it's ability to withstand continual pressure without disintegrating. That could still happen as she has only been using this for some 2 weeks, but I will say that the pulley seems to be fairly well put together. The pulley itself is nylon and the frame and axle are metal which is a good thing for this level of product. The cord seems plenty long enough and I do like the fact that one can easily adjust the working length simply by repositioning on each handle all without having to retie knots - nice touch. All in all a good product at a reasonable cost.

Great bracket you can leave on door when opened. Curved comfy handles have adjustable rope cleats to adjust rope length. Great!
Very high quality, has metal bracket to go over door with a piece of foam in it to adapt to various door sizes. Most of them require you to close the door onto the holder and if you open the door you have to redo it. With this bracket I can keep the ropes attached at all times on the BACK of a door so it is hidden, then just go in the room and close the door when I want to use it. It has really this nylon rope and metal pulley with plastic wheel, not that it needs to be strong but I think thicker rope makes the rope hang straight and just glides better. Another really cool thing is the plastic handles are curved which feel better in your hands, PLUS each one has cleats inside them so you can quickly adjust the rope length on either side.

BIG HELP
I had shoulder surgery a few months ago ( subacromial decompression and calcific tendonitis removal) and my recovery has gone slower than I would prefer ( I'M not patient). One of the first things they have you do in physical therapy is work on range of motion, this little baby is exactly what they use the only difference being this hooks over your door so it is perfect easy to use/ transport for travel etc. this simple tool has helped greatly in getting back my range of motion, of course you have to be dilligent with all your exercises to fully recover but this is one item I will use forever. we live in a hunched over world, (office drones kids attached to there phones etc.) that we lose that range 5 to 10 minutes a day or every other day of using this makes a world of difference best $11 I spent in the past year.

good price to performance ratio
For the price, this is a very sturdy and fluid pulley system for range-of-motion exercises. The pulley is well designed. It doesn't snag, nor is it flimsy. In fact, most of the pulley head is constructed of steel, enclosing a nylon wheel that rotates very smoothly. The over-the-door strap attachment of the pulley is suitably thick enough to stay lodged securely in place. A large interwoven nylon cord, in excess of 1/4" in diameter, adds to the sturdy feel of this therapy system. The black plastic hand-holds can be readily moved to any position along the run of cord, and they remain firmly where positioned. This makes for easy adjustments, to accomplish various routines in short order. I like this product a lot!

Perfect for Frozen Shoulder Exercises!
My physical therapist told me to get a shoulder pulley, and after reading lots of reviews, I chose this one. I've been very happy with it. This shoulder pulley is sturdy, and works smoothly. I've been using it 3X a day for six weeks, and it works great!

Great product
I dislocated my shoulder and my physical therapist strongly suggested by pulleys. They sold them for more than $30 but these work as well as any and are affordable. These have really helped me alot. It slides on the top of a door in a second and I use them throughout the day. No installation, just hang it on. Helpful hint-the further away you move or sit, the greater the range of motion. I love this product!

Great product!
EXCELLENT product! Well priced, very easy to use, sturdy materials, and comfortable handles! Had a question and called the company's customer service. It was answered very promptly and effectively! AWESOME experience! Highly recommend the product and if you have any questions at all, call the maker. The company operates out of Spokane, WA and prides itself on delivering superior customer service. Also something to keep in mind when using this product, that in order to operate this pulley you'll need to have enough clearance at the very top of the door.

Good for shoulder injuries
This is not a heavy duty gym quality pully but for home use it works perfectly. I have a shoulder injury and my PT suggested that one of these, used 2x per day, would help with range of motion. I've found it very helpful. It's a snap to put up and does its job.
