One of the best car accessories I've ever purchased

I've had this in my car for about a month now, and it has been one of the best vehicle accessories that I've ever purchased. I used to have a bad habit of leaving trash in the pocket of my door or just throwing it into the back seat (because of course, I'd ALWAYS get it later, right?) which would always lead to my car getting dirty quickly and much more work picking up old receipts and such later. I hung this on the hook of my passenger seat headrest and now I have an easy place to put trash while I'm driving. Whenever it's time to clean out the car, I just take out this little can and empty it. Definitely recommend this for anyone!

This is the second car trash can i have purchased. Works better than anything I have tried.

This is my second one to buy. I bought one for our first car, and now bought one for the second car. We hang them on a hook behind the passenger seat. It is easy to remove and empty. If it gets dirty, it is very washable. I just run water in it and air dry it. It keeps out cars much cleaner, because otherwise I throw trash on the floor!

Convenient and Sturdy

Even thought I just received the item, it's easy for me to write a positive review. I had the same item for years in another vehicle until it was accidentally ruined in a way that had nothing to do with the construction of the item. It's sturdy and convenient. I loop the elastic strap around the seat belt anchor, and it sits just behind the center console, easily reachable by the driver and front and back seat passengers. Its wide mouth eliminates the need to pry it open, which can be aggravating, especially for the driver. I highly recommend it for vehicles and vans with center consoles.

Nice little trash bag!

I always have a problem keeping my car clean, receipts and other little pieces of trash seem to litter my car floor and it becomes insanely dirty. So I decided I needed to have a trash can that can be attached to my car without taking valuable leg space! In comes this little beauty! Yes it's small but it's perfect for all those little pieces of trash can I could easily fit a few cans in there as well!

Good if you want a small trash can for your car.

Yes, this is a small trash can, but honestly, I want a small trash can in my vehicle. It's not going to hold a weeks worth of garbage, but it does work great for long trips to throw out wrappers, small bottles, etc. If you are throwing bottles into it, I would guess it would be full after about 3 bottles, but honestly, I just prefer to keep those in the cup holders and dispose of them when stopping for gas or breaks. It does seem like it's well made and the liner should be easy to clean. So if you're looking for a trash can to store trash for months, this wouldn't be for you. If you just want a small trash can that stays out of the way and is easy to dump, this is it.

Well-made but short on design...

This little gizmo is well made but I am disappointed with the design. I have not been able to find a place in my car where I can situate it. Admittedly my car is older (a Volvo 240) but the Zone Tech portable has only a fairly small elastic ring to be used to attach it to something in the car. The headrests in my Volvo are too large for the elastic cord/ring to slip over them. If there were a small plastic hook attached to the ring or if the ring could be opened with velcro, it could be attached to the headrest from front or rear (or side. As it is, it attaches to nothing in the cabin of my car. Another design suggestion id to make a zippered compartment out of the base so that some sort of weight could be inserted in the bottom of the receptacle (rather like floor-based punching bag) A bean bag at the bottom would anchor the receptacle wherever it was placed on the floor or on a seat or on the dashboard and would prevent it from being sucked out of the car if a window is opened. Similarly a small magnet might allow attachment to something metal (if you can find such in your car. Sorry to sound negative, but the attachment capabilities are almost non-existent. Nonetheless, it is trying to fill an existing need and I will figure out a way to use it...

Very handy and easy to lcean.

This is the second one I have purchased, two cars, I especially like the washability of the item. I just hook it over shift lever on the floor and it hangs behind my right leg ao it is easily accessible for driver and passenger. People in the back seat, very seldom, just roll down the window and let the trash fly. I'm kidding I would easily buy a third one if it were needed.

Great size and good construction

This fits snugly in the bottom/large compartment of the center console of my 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. The construction is solid, and the material feels rugged and like it could take a beating. If you're looking for a garbage can about 25% bigger than your average tin coffee can - this is a great choice. Check out the two attached images to get a sense of the scale, and how it can fit completely within larger consoles.

Mom must have !

I love this trash bin! As a mom of 2 I collect a lot of garbage in the car through out the day. This garbage bin is the perfect size for my car and is nice and sturdy. I love that it's spill proof! Thinking about buying another one for my back seat!

A great asset for my car!!!

I bought two of these several years ago and loved them. I gave one to my husband and one for myself. While visiting Winnipeg, my son-in-law made a positive comment about my trash bin when he used my car, something to the effect that he liked it and thought that he would like one. So I am just now ordering 3 of them as gifts for family members.
