Went ahead and left this on my drier as a permanent installment and I am very pleased with it! I don't know why I didn't think of buying something like this sooner. It makes it all the more easier to iron things immediately after they come out of the dryer.

I wanted this to protect my dryer as the last one ended up scratched from sandy laundry baskets, etc. The size is perfect for my dryer - depth covers just about to the control panel and it hangs down a couple of inches on either side. I use it for folding, etc and it does not slip. I haven't tried ironing because I rarely iron anyway and that would just be a plus. I am going to buy 2 more for our vacation house. great product.

Very useful for small spaces!

This is so useful! I store it on the side of the washer and pull it out when I need to use the iron! The magnets are strong and the fabric holds up really well!

I love the Magnetic Laundry Pad from Houseables. I don't do a lot of ironing, so having a full sized ironing board isn't practical. I like the ease of "set up" and the fact that it takes up little space in my laundry room. Shipping was quick, and the product is good quality. I highly recommend the ironing mat if you're looking to get rid of an ironing board, or want a good alternative.

Great Space Saver

If you're like me, and living in a space that doesn't have a ton of room, let alone for a big old ironing board (that and I just don't like pulling it out), this is the perfect solution. Easily sticks with the magnets to the top of the dryer. Great space saving solution. If you're looking to minimize or you have to, this is what you want!

Traditional Ironing Boards Be Gone!

This is so much better than the traditional ironing board! Just place it on your dryer or table and you are good to go! I hope to never have to go back to the traditional ironing board where you just leave it standing after use until you get sick of looking at it!

No More Wrestling With A Big Mean Ironing Board

It will be some time until I have a separate room set up for my sewing and quilting. For now I use my kitchen table and whenever I need to iron the seams on my quilting piecing, I've had to drag my full-size ironing board out of the closet and set it up, then put it away when I'm done. With this ironing blanket, that's no longer part of my day. I just unfold the blanket and lay it across the end of my kitchen counter and I'm ready to go. I love this convenience and it works as well as an ironing board for my purposes. In fact better, because I no longer have to get into a wrestling match with a great big ironing board. I'm so glad I found this and am thinking of getting one for my daughter who actually has a washer and dryer she could lay it on to press out small items.

Great idea! Such a time

Great idea! Such a time, space and hussle.safer! Unfortunately, whoever built our house decided that having a laundry machine in a family room was a good idea (i guess because of the ease of access to the water outlet) so i have a nice focal.point in the family room , but i digress lol i use this pad on the washing machine all the time and it saves me so much hassle, dont have to drag the ironing board in and out of the closet, and its right there when you need it, when im done with it i just put it on the side of the washing machine. Highly recommend product!!

I am really pleased with this

I am really pleased with this. I am not much of an ironing person, so when I found this I wanted to give it a try. It fits perfectly over my dryer so I can iron things that I need. It is very convenient!

Great little mat, quick way to get ironing done.

I felt a bit silly ordering this, but I find that I use it all the time. I did not want to buy a full size ironing board because I know, being the man that I am, I would leave it out all the time, then it would become a table, which would be cluttered, and I would never iron again. So, with this, I pull it out, put it on my glass top stove and iron away! Now all of my uniforms look great again. I don't have a use for the magnets because of where I use the mat, however they work well as weights, and I am sure they are beneficial to some users. Pro tip: When you are extremely bored, you can even iron the ironing mat and get rid of those pesky wrinkles that were there from being folded during shipping. I seriously have no life.
