Does the job well- it sucks that BMW has a proprietary oil filter design but I guess that comes with the cost of ownership. Worked perfectly with my 2013 BMW X3 28i F25 Model, N20 Engine - 4 Cylinder

Good for BMW

Appears to be a heavy duty high quality tool. Removed my oil filter cover on my BMW 330i easily (other oil filter tools that I have didn't work easily). Satisfied with this tool.

Must have if you own a volvo and do your own maintenance. This makes removing g the cartridge filter s breeze and no more struggling with a universal fitting.

Fits N52 engines

We have a 2005 X3 3.0 L. (M54 engine) in addition to a 2011 X3 3.0 L (N52). I do most of the maintenance on our cars. So I thought the oil filter housing would be the same on our 2011. I was wrong. The M54 engine oil filter uses a 36 mm six sided housing. The N52 is a better design as a 86.6 mm (Amazon description is wrong stating 86 mm) with 16 flutes.

Amazing product that seems like it will last forever

Amazing product that seems like it will last forever. This has saved me a ton of time and it made the oil change extremely easy and quick. I went to a bunch of autoshops and the only place that carried this part was pepboys. All of the other shops only offered it online. And though the part was cheap for only $5 from pepboys. It was worthless. Its made out of plastic and just after trying to turn it once it broke in pieces. And this product was amazing and didn't give any problems at all. And its made out of metal instead of plastic. If I were you I would definitely buy the part right away. It extremely hard to find and you cant beat this quality of the part. And I even went to a Volvo dealership and they no longer carry oil filter wrenches. So might as well buy the part now so you can save yourself a ton of time.

Must have for p2 volvo owners

Absolutely a must have for volvo owners. This wrench is built like a tank and encases the entire volvo oil filter housing. My friend like is so much he ordered one for his volvo.

I have a 2000 volvo s60 2.5t. I can tell you that it is totally worth buying one of these if you do your oil changes yourself. This makes the job sooo much easier. Its direct fit for the volvo and bmw's has made oil changing a breeze. I have been taking off the oil filter by hand the past 8 years.. I have no idea how I still have hands. Hands down, totally worth buying, SAVE YOUR HANDS!

Quality tool, fair price

Great oil filter removal tool. Good quality with snug fit on filter. 3/8 drive fits nicely. This is my second Motivx oil filter tool, Volvo and Porsche.
