Works well to correct behavior
Our trainer taught us how to use it. It helps to prevent ur dog from barking at the neighbor'd dogs when outside. A few proactive sprays prior to the actually bark worked like a charm. You only need to depress the spray gently for a noise and reward them when the proper behavior is achieved.

Use Sparingly. It works
This worked fantastic with our little white devil barker. We have only had to use it a few times. No need to point it at him. Just give the command and give a short burst in the general area. Stopped him in his tracks. Now we can just give the command without the blast to stop his barking. We were also careful not to let him see it. Its important to keep it a mystery so he doesn't know where it came from. For all he knows, it came from my fingertips. I definitely recommend this. Much more humane than a collar, or even the sonic correctors, as long as you use it properly.

I wouldn't believe this product could work this well if I hadn't gone through this myself.
This was recently recommended to me by a fellow dog owner who had worked out a barking problem with her pup. I was skeptical so I bought the smallest/best value pack I could find (2 pk of the smallest one). I am stunned at the results. Our puppy has (had!) and issue eating stuff off the street she shouldn't and gets sick and throws it up (if it's too big) or passes it through...we've been lucky she hasn't twisted up her insides She's thrown up a peach pit and a piece of a corn cob that were both too big to work their way through. She recently pooped out a small sheet of shredded plastic. We're not sure where/when she got these things, but there are dog walkers involved, as well. (Our hood has a lot of trash in the streets/sidewalks. Cats rip open bags of trash and drag out chicken bones. All manner of yummy items in the eyes of our pup, who pees and poops in the street between cars, so she gets lots of opportunities to snag tidbits.) We've tried various training exercises and techniques, but nothing has worked. This past Saturday morning I took Pet Corrector out with us for the first walk of the day and pressed this button and said "no!" each time she tried to grab something. each time she dropped it and took a few quick steps away. (She clearly doesn't like the noise.) Second walk, same thing and I noticed she gave my right hand/the can some serious side-eye one time. Third walk, no need to use the can. The rest of Saturday and all day Sunday I only had to press the button one more time! When we say "no!" she stops trying to eat something and she usually just walks right by it now, anyway. Including meaty chicken bones and bread, her two favorite! My girlfriend hasn't even pressed the button once, but when she say s "no!" pupper stops trying to eat crap. "It's like walking a new dog!" is what my GF said. And this is after using it on two walks! To the folks who say "It's just compressed air, buy it at the computer store," I don't think that's correct. My guess is that it emits a tone that we don't hear (or at least don't hear the same way). Our pup hears a lot of loud noises. We live in Queens, NYC near an overhead subway and she doesn't think anything of that when we walk underneath it. Traffic, trains, horns, people hollering, etc..doesn't bother her. But she does NOT like the noise that came out of this can. It might work to take the top off the PC can and then put it on a compressed air can? But I don't think I'll ever know because it doesn't even look like we'll have to use the second small can that we got. 13/10 Would recommend to any dog owner.

A miracle product
Our dogs' howling and pulling when they spotted other dogs nearly got us thrown out of a couple of outdoor patios. And I understand, I didn't like it either. We tried modifying their behavior with treats for being quiet, removing them from the situation, etc - the various things that trainers tell you to do - all with no progress. Use of the PC just a couple of times has modified their behavior, and it has not undermined our relationship - they love us as much as always. I think it"s a miracle product.

The best attention getting alarm that stops unwanted behaviors!
This small can of loud air (not unlike the air spray to clean your computer keyboard) is powerful enough to get our little Chihuahuas to stop in their tracks their unpleasant actions of barking, snarling or any other misbehavior and go running with their tails between their legs. All we have to say to them now is, “Do you want the RED CAN??”, and they are on high alert!

This ACTUALLY WORKS!
This is my second order, this time for a two-pack. I read the reviews but was truly skeptical as to whether this sound would get my dogs attention. I did not want anything that would shock or spray. I bought this product to discourage them from barking when they see other dogs. . Their tails wag but being a large loud breed other dogs especially small ones react negatively. I keep one in the car for when the dogs are looking out the window and excitedly see other dogs. The other I keep in my pocket when walking them. I use the word "quiet" when I spray. It has worked to almost eliminate their barking. Still working on it but amazing results so far. Try it!

Great training tool
I bought this for a friend who has a very anxious dog that jumps and barks when guests enter the home. While his behavior is not malicious, we were concerned he would jump on someone while they were still on the stairs. This worked instantaneously. As soon as I entered I briefly pressed the top and he immediately stopped in his tracks and then sat at our instruction. I checked in with the family and they said it was the most effective training tool they’ve received!

Awesome training tool!
I love these things! The noise stops my dog in his tracks without any harm to him! I definitely recommend these for stopping any unwanted behavior in your dog. My dog trainer likes them too, although she did tell me that you should only use them for one unwanted behavior at a time. For example, if you're working on stopping your dog from barking, use this every time your dog barks so he understands that he shouldn't bark. But don't also use it when your dog jumps on the furniture, or whatever other unwanted behavior is going on. It's too confusing for your dog. Once your dog masters the first behavior, you can move on and use this for the next unwanted behavior. You shouldn't have to use it forever, but you do need to be consistent!

Amazing
I don’t understand how this works, but it totally does! We have a dog we got from a rescue that is very anxious and will bark at unfamiliar people. Just a few little squirts from this can solved the 95% of the problem. Now we can even just hold the can and he won’t bark. It is amazing. We tried bark collars, training, and anti-bark techniques and nothing worked as well as the simple little can.

Super effective bark product
I have a small half chihuahua who barks at everything. I’ve tried every product on the market over the last 12 years and this one is definitely the winner. I purchased one for a friend who also has a chihuahua and she loves the product also. After time just the sight of the bottle or the imitation of the noise it makes helps stop the barking. Two repeat customers! Chihuahua solution.
