Basic cover, but excellent and reassuring protection!

I was debating between the full carry bag or this and I'm glad I bought this. It's still a great protective cover for transport and loading/unloading. I don't do enough outdoor type events to warrant the convertible cover with the zippered panels to allow full access and use without removing the cover. The padding within the cover lining is reassuring for me that the speaker will be protected from scratches and dings, and the side handle cutouts are perfect. Some reviewers mentioned a snug fit, and it is definitely a specific fit, but I don't feel it's difficult to get on or off. I had it over my speaker in 10 seconds. I think if it were more loose, it would run the risk of sliding off too easily. The only complaint I have is the lack of a top handle cutout, but I would only remove a half star so I kept it at five.

Fits like a glove...

Works great for me. Fits like a glove on my JBL 618s. Yea it is a snug fit and a slip over (top down) cover but its what I was looking for. Works great for travel in a vehicle and for storage I just sit the speaker on its side and slide it into place. I also have these same type if covers for my JBL 615s speakers. No complaints.

Nice cover, could use a pocket for the power cord.

Very nicely made, offers good protection and it's a perfect fit. I really wish JBL would have included a pocket to store the power cord like EV covers do, still a great item though.

Convertible protection

Works great although hasn't been transported yet. All of the convertible features work fine and you can even roll the entire back up also, instead of using the little vents with support tabs. (still a great feature if outside)
