Have to say this is the sharpest cutting tool I have ever purchased. I have Rapala fillet knives that I keep very very sharp. This tool out of the box was much sharper than my knives. I used it to separate chicken thighs and legs. It went thru them like warm butter. After washing the cleaver I put it right back in the box for storage. It is much too sharp to be loose in a drawer. Excellent product,very well made, and good looking,too.

My husbands favorite.

I got this for my husband this is his go to knife for chopping onions, celery, he has even used it to cut chicken. It is solid stainless Steel and super sharp. I would recommend not using this around kids unless it slips safety first. It is very good heavy but not to heavy go to knife.

A must have

This item was needed in my home for quite sometime, I have lots of knives and one cleaver that I paid $80.00 and cannot cut butter in the hot sun.... This cleaver is awesome, cuts chicken without shattering the bones...I love it.

This is one massive cleaver, very well designed and built. I hammered this with plastic tenderizer hammer through a 3” block of frozen sushi grade tuna. 4 hits and it was through.

Razor sharp!

Razor sharp. Cuts through chicken leg quarters like butter. Light (only 15 OZ.) but effective.

Good Chef knife

It has a good weight to it so you don't need to put as much strength when chopping vegetables or meat. The blade is also really sharp, however, keep in mind this is not intended to cut through hard bones. I've been using it for almost all our meals and this does the job effortlessly for all our vegetables, spices, and meats.
