The item came right away form the seller and it was all brand new and the red color looks nice! It's pretty easy to clean I would recommend this as a gift to any one that likes to do cooking in there kitchen. I thought it was well worth the price they were asking for! It comes with a guide on how to make donuts but you could easily use it to make other snack cakes too!

2nd time was much much better

1st batch using basic recipe in the booklet came out fine ... will expand to different flavors, might try the 1/2way flip over for more even browning, make sure lid clamp is closed. OK, 2nd time, filled the bottom to the recommended 3/4 which means the batter rises above the bottom half maybe 1/4". Work the batter so it's creamy but has enough consistency to not flow freely. Timed it to 3 minutes. Modified a recipe for chocolate flavored. They came out better than bakery or donut stores. Didn't flip it over, unnecessary.

Quick yummy mini donuts

Very happy with this. I've used this three times now for different types of donuts. It cooks quickly and evenly and the donuts did not stick at all, even when I made a batch without using any spray/ oil to grease the pan. I would only suggest to make preparations to get the batter into the mold as quickly as possible because they start cooking right away, so the last donut mold you fill up could end up being significantly less cooked than the first, and the bottoms could end up browner than the tops if you don't move fast. I really like how quickly I can make a cute, unique and healthier (not fried) treat to take to get-togethers, gifts, etc.
