We needed a smaller crock for our camper. The one fit nicely without hogging space. It was in good condition and worked fine. It's just the right size for us plus one grand camping. It reheats food we cooked at home (great timesaver) so we can focus on daily activities, not worrying about what to cook and using our camp time doing it.

Perfect in so many ways!

Love, love, love! I've been a Crock Pot Queen ever since they were invented (well, the electric ones, anyway). Don't know how many I've gone through over the years, totally wearing them out. Now that it's just the two of us, we needed something smaller because two chicken breasts look pretty silly in one of those 4 or 5 quart jobs! Plus, my hubby who washes the dishes asked for something a little lighter weight than the big crockery pots. So, this one is perfect for our needs and just the right size for a small family, a side dish, or one main dish. Love the locking-lid feature as well as the 'warm' setting. Now I'll probably leave the big mamma in the cupboard unless I'm making chili for 8 people!

Great size!

This is the perfect size for potlucks at work. It doesn't weigh a ton so it is much easier to carry around. I had already checked local stores for this item and had not been able to find it, so ordered on here. The weekend after, I found them at my local big box store for twenty dollars, which was ten less than I paid on here. I just wish this was available as a digital crock that would automatically go to warm after a set amount of time - it's the perfect size for cooking for two, or cooking the meat for a small family.

Perfect!

Perfect for me! Although this is geared towards casseroles, it works just like a regular crockpot. I used it yesterday for a pork tenderloin roast and today for some tri tip steaks. Great for a smaller household - two to three servings of meat. It has a see-through lid and although the instructions say not to clip the clamps while cooking, by clamping them, it totally eliminates the clattering of the lid. My daughter has a similar one only bigger and the clamped lid really helps. My old crock pot would literally bubble up with steam and rattle the lid, often leaving little puddles on the counter. Not so with this one - very pleased.

Locking Lid, Ideal Size for Two People, Just Right

This little crockpot is exactly what I hoped it would be. I have the standard crockpots everyone has, and I used them on a regular basis when I was raising our family. When we became empty nesters, I was working and continued to use crockpots for meals to be ready when we returned home from work. Now we are retirees, and I have wanted a smaller crockpot for several years. With just two of us at home and more leftovers than we can tackle, a small one would be just the ticket. A smaller one with the traditional high sides just didn't work. Amazon reviewers touted this one as ideal for meals for two people, and I concur!!!!! Goldilocks would say it is "just right". We traveled to family for Thanksgiving, so I put my sweet potatoes in this and plugged it into the car via a power inverter. They were ready for dinner when we arrived at out destination, and my new mini-casserole crockpot received raves. The design is lovely, and so far it wipes clean every time. The lid - I can't forget that great locking lid; it traveled like a dream. I highly recommend this casserole crockpot for anyone needing something just this size.

Perfect for the single cook!

I work, so I prepare and freeze a lot of meals because I don't particularly like fast food. I tried a small, round crockpot but I couldn't get my frozen meals inside without defrosting, or hacking a corner off. Now my frozen meats, casseroles, soups and stews lay flay against the bottom, there is plenty of room. And when I travel, the clamps keep the food from spilling in the car. This is perfect for someone who only cooks for 1-2 people.

Worked great, food looked better than traditional crock pots.

I love that I can make smaller casseroles for the two of us. In my small taller crock pot everything came out pretty messy. In this one a casserole looks like a casserole. It heated evenly (better than the big size casserole one.) I'm very pleased.

The perfect crockpot for for 2 or 3 people.

My wife spent weeks looking for the "perfect" crockpot. I bought her the new rectangle one. She did take it out of the box. It sat there for a week until I asked her if she was going to keep it. She said that it wasn't the "one." She packed it up and I returned it. She found this one and at the time there were only 2 reviews but she liked what they said. She decided to order it. She loved it but remained calm and fixed a small roast with all the trimmings. I asked her if it passed the test. She said, "It is perfect." Our crockpot hunting days are over.

Perfect fit for my family

Searched for a smaller crockpot than my large black 6 qt pot that always feels oversize when I use it for family meals (except when making chili or soups). When this mini crock arrived and was unpacked, I chuckled at the size, as it really seemed small. I doubled checked my comparisons with the other options that I was considering being 3 or 3.5 qt sizes and decided I needed to give this a try. First use, 2 pounds of ground beef, cooked on low and was perfectly cooked through in 2 hours and was easily ground down for taco meat, turned setting to warm and it was perfect for our family of 4 for dinner + leftovers. In one weeks time I have used this pot 3 times (baked spaghetti & 2lb block of Velveeta cheese for Rotel cheese dip) and it has been perfect. The white crock is so much easier to clean than the big black crock from my larger unit. This is oval in shape, which by the photos I couldn't exactly tell. This didn't take up much storage space in my lower cabinet, I simply turned my larger oval one sideways and pushed to the back of the shelf and this fits perfectly in front. Very pleased with the design and quality.

This is a very nice crockpot, just the right size for empty nesters. I have one daughter left at home, and was having trouble getting used to cooking for just two. With this new item, I cut my crockpot recipes in half, and the result is just enough food for two meals (instead of about six!). It looks nice on the countertop, and it's easy to transport if you want to bring it somewhere with you. Great item!
