I love Zippos and collect them here and there, but this one is to be used. First, I have to say that the picture of this lighter isn't to accurate; in fact, it's much "brighter" than it appears in the photo. The company's description is "Silver plate", and that is exactly what it looks like; I don't know if it actually is silver-plated (I doubt it), but that is exactly what it looks like! Lighten up the Amazon image by 50% and you will have a good idea of what this lighter really looks like. Unlike most Zips, this one is one of the "Armor" lighters whose casings are 50% thicker than the standard Zippo. Don't think that sounds like much? Take a 2x4 board and make is a 3x' board ... Stronger, no? Stronger, yes. 50% stronger! You can feel the difference in the using of the lighter. You've heard the phrase "a manly man", I'm sure; well, this is "a manly lighter" (Silly, I know, but it makes the point). It's a pleasure to hold, a pleasure to look at and a pleasure to use. It took about 2 minutes for this this to become my favorite "go to" Zippo of the many I have. Most of my Zippos are unused ... this one should never be. Buy it and enjoy it.

It's a Zippo, exactly as described and more! Super Fast Shipping from Amazon/Amazon. Display box corner (just the regular black Zippo display box) was dented in.... no big deal for me as not a collector. But I'm certain Amazon would work with you if a Collector@dented display box. Highly Recommend This item and from Amazon, I feel comfortable for it being a Genuine Zippo!

It's a Zippo!!

Smokers have loved Zippo lighters since they began. I bought this one for the Stars and Stripes design. Thought the big star was just a star, but it was a bronze color when it arrived. PERFECT for me since I was awarded a Bronze Star will serving in Iraq. My only complaint is having to fill it up too often. I love using this lighter, so does my wife, and one of my adult kids. It is definitely getting a workout. When it comes to Zippo lighters, you really only need to look for the design that makes you happy...the lighter will work just fine. Be certain to buy extra flints and fluid at the same time so you don't have to wait when the time comes to fill or replace parts.

Well Worth The Price As Zippo Always Delivers

While I am a big fan of Zippo products, even though this specific lighter from Zippo is cheaper than many other fine Zippo lighter's, I am highly impressed with this Zippo lighter. Why? Well, it works just as well as spending 25-30 dollars on a Zippo lighter. In my experience with this lighter, on the first strike of lighting it, BAM, you have a large, steady flow of flame to light what you need to light. I would recommend this to nayone needing a decent lighter at a lower price that does it's job as intended.

I have been using Zippo’s for near 50 years.... This is absolutely my all time favorite Zippo lighter! Heavier and thicker material than standard. When closing the lid, it feels and sounds like closing a vault!! The design is awesome, with a vintage silver finish! Amazing American Made Product, with lifetime warranty to back it up🇺🇸

I love this Zippo! I colored mine :)

I love this Zippo! I want to dress her up a bit, so mixed the liquid wood dye into Nitrocellulose lacquer and painted this flag Zippo to keep transparency, yet add vibrant color :) Just my way of my my Zippo more personalized, and unique. The way I did this zippo makes this a one of a kind zippo (I think Lol) Thank you! Will get more for my collection, but this was really fun.
