If you can't use regular cough syrup because of high blood pressure or other important reasons, (in my case Serotonin Syndrome) this cough syrup regardless of what you want to say about it being nothing but "placebo" works.

This cough syrup is awesome! I'd never heard of it until our holistic practitioner suggested it to clear a cough my stepdaughter had for several weeks. Her cough was gone within 24 hours. I used it again this week with my son, who'd been coughing for a few weeks. I gave it to him 3 times (along with Drainage Tone) and his cough completely resolved. The kids like the taste and say it tastes like sweet tea. I will always keep this in my medicine cabinet!

To cough or not to cough, that is the question

As far as homeopathic remedies go, this is one of the best. This is an expectorant, a medicine best used to produce productive coughs. Talk to your doctor if you have a cough triggered by asthma. This can be taken by children or adults over the age of two. They provide (and recommend) you use their meauring cup to accurately dispense the right dose. Because of the honey, the texture is slightly thicker than your traditional robitussin. It is coyingly sweet, but so am I so I like it. I experience no side effects and I am able to recover from seasonal coughs much faster with this product.

BEST non prescription syrup

Time and time again this syrup saved us. We used to take Robitussin and Mucinex and they would take over 2 bottles for us to recover and become functional again from a cold. Chestal started working within 24 hours and I could start getting back to my usual routine typically after two good periods of sleep. I was a bit reluctant from buying meds on Amazon, but since I was so sick to drive out to a drug store after finishing up my leftover bottle of Robitussin am/pm, I ordered Chestal on Amazon and was able to get them delivered to me the next day with my Prime account. Since it's been pouring outside, the Amazon driver even left the box underneath my patio chair and nothing was damaged inside. Chestal Best Stuff

Love this Chestal for breaking up mucus in chest. Nothing works as well as this and in a very short time period (like 5 min). Leave the Mucinex on the drug store shelf and go to a health food store or even better Amazon and purchase Chestal. I've tried it all....this works!

Cough syrup in a GLASS bottle

I ordered nine different organic cough syrups in Hope of finding one that came in a GLASS bottle, rather than plastic. (No joke; packaging material/type is unfortunately often not part of the description) Out of the nine different brands I ordered, THIS was the only organic cough syrup that came to me in a glass bottle. Fortunately, my niece appreciates organic products & was happy to accept my gift of eight brands/kinds of cough syrup for her household of ten, with ages ranging from 5 to 33. I admit that I was a bit skeptical at first of this brand, because I was expecting a medicinal or alcohol/burning taste rather than the honey-base it has, but it works great... and I am so grateful.

I am unable to take a lot of the over the counter cold and cough medicines. I find this to be very effective in relieving my cough for a common cold. And I don't have to worry about adverse effects.

It Works!!!!!

Unbelievable cough syrup. This works when nothing else will. My mother has extremely high blood pressure and has to be very careful about medications. Most over the counter cough meds have warning about BP. This past winter she became very ill with bronchitis and a nasty cough that was driving her crazy. She desperately tried a couple of the OTC cough syrups that did nothing. I gave her a bottle of Chestal. The next day she called me to report how this was an absolute miracle. You will have to take this more often than other cough remedies but you can take it with confidence that it will work and it is safe. I love the fact that it is homeopathic.
