GREAT little craft project for little ones!

I buy these M&D projects all the time because I love how easy it is for little hands to do, and for kids to figure out. I love the stained glass projects because they always add a cheery touch around the house for each occasion I buy them for. I also like that they're not messy so I don't need to supervise every little step as I would have to if it were paint. I hope M&D comes out with more designs because we love them, and we've almost tried them all at this point!

Fun to make and display

Big hit with my grandsons. Ages 6 and 10. Can’t really mess them up so great for kids to make and display.

Fun and Mess Free Craft, 5 Year Old Completed Independently, Beautiful Finished Product

Bought this as an easy pre-Christmas craft to do with my 5 year old daughter and she was able to complete them on her own with no help. You get two ornaments that double as suncatchers - they're made of the same hard and thick plastic as suncatchers. You get a Santa and a Christmas tree and there are separate sheets of stained glass stickers for each ornament. I anticipated that they'd be a gel feel to the stickers, but they are actually sturdy and hard pieces that peel easily off the sticker sheet. Each piece has a specific spot so it's really like putting together a puzzle and the directions state you can lay the sticker sheet over the ornament if you need help placing the pieces in the right spot. Once you put all the stickers in, you tie the provided thick string through the loop and you can either hang them on the tree or you can use the provided suction cup to hang it on a window as a suncatcher. We put one on the tree and one on the window and the light shines beautifully through them. If you hang them on a window, make sure you wet the back of the suction cup with a damp cloth - if you put it on the window dry, it will fall off. We loved this kit and we've actually ordered some of the other stained glass kits in the line because it's a great, frustration free craft for her and the finished product is beautiful. I only wish more ornaments came in the kit because she was done with both in about 10 minutes. Overall, a fun and mess free craft for the family. Awesome quality from Melissa and Doug as always.

Love these!

Love these. I’ve bought my 3yo a bunch of these stick on stained glass projects from these makers and they are all nice products. She was actually able to do these ones by herself with me watching and stuck them all in the right places. They are stick ons tho so if they fall or she decides to pull them off they come off and might not be good to leave around younger children. It’s fun and she loves them and now they are apart of our Christmas decorations. I highly recommend.

The kit includes both Santa and the Tree, with red silk cords to the finished craft can be hung up as an ornament. The kit also included two suction cup hangers that you can stick to a window and hang them where light will come through.

Keep little kids busy at holiday parties

I try to keep a variety of crafts and games available for the littler kids who come to our large family gatherings: staves off their boredom and keeps them out of their parents' hair for a little while. These ornaments were a big hit, and the children could assemble them without adult help! The stickers peel easily off the plastic backing, and they go into “recessed” sections on the clear backing plate—nearly impossible to put them out of proper position. Each sticker is rubbery and textured, not thin paper, so the finished ornament looks very nice.

Great, easy to do holiday project!

This was a great way to fill time during winter break. My daughter is 4 and was very easily able to remove the stickers and place them in the plastic sun catchers easily. I would highly recommend this as an easy project that young kids can do independently! I will certainly buy more kits like this!

Great independent activity for kids

These entertained my kids (ages 4 and 7) for a good half hour while at grandma and grandpas house over thanksgiving. It is a great item to just have handy for a rainy day, or a day they are complaining they're bored :) both of my girls could do this independently. They enjoyed hanging them up when they were completed (all hanging supplies included).
