Best product ever! We moved into a rental and the shrubs we're dead and grass brown. We were waiting for a response from the owner of we could plant roses instead of shrubs and get reimbursed when the HOA left a notice saying we had a week to fix them or get fined. I ordered this to give us more time and it transformed our yard. Bought more to keep the grass green until summer is over.

This product rocks! We have a female puppy, and her urine was destroying our lawn. There were yellow/brown spots everywhere. Even though we try to reseed the damaged areas fairly frequently, we can't keep up with her. I absolutely love this grass paint! The color isn't an exact match to our lawn, but our lawn varies some from one part of the yard to another. Newer grass is lighter in color, too. Unless you're right up close, actually looking to see where you've sprayed, all you'll see is green lawn everywhere. It doesn't wash off when you run the sprinklers, either, which we do daily, living in a very dry part of the country.

Does what it says -- makes the brown spots green. Didn't have any problem with getting green stuff on my hands or pets (but I did keep them out of the backyard for a couple of hours after treating). Essentially hides the brown spots (although I still have to figure out how to make the matted flat, browned grass stand up -- so now I have green matted flat areas in my yard....).

I bought two more because it works so we.. We are in a drought area where we try to conserve water. We took out the back lawn and decreased the size of the vegetable garden. The front lawn is small. Last year it was brown, but with the little rain we got and watering two evenings a week it just got some brown spots. Spray this on dry brown grass and it looks great! Following the advice in previous reviews I wore gloves and taped papers to the walkway because it stains. I kept a damp sponge nearby to wipe up stray green before it dried. We love our nice looking lawn. When passersby compliment it we tell them why our lawn looks so good.

My husband and I used this today. I got a little carried with the vegetation killer near our planting beds and I was happy to see a fix . First of all, we have a gorgeous landscaped yard that is always well maintained and beautiful. We were able to spray all of the areas that I had damaged and it looks really great. I am impressed with this very easy to use product. Thanks! you are a lifesaver!

I got up early to use this product since I didn't want any comments from my neighbors. A couple of recommendations - wear gloves - the dye stains your fingers but washes off after time. Also, pay attention to the wind - I got some blow-back on my legs. I used it on my back yard as well as on patches on the front yard and it worked beautifully. I used long, sweeping motions in order to prevent the dye from pooling in one spot. It blended into my existing grass and it WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHERE IT WAS APPLIED! I know that it is expensive but it is totally worth it. My next order will take advantage of the larger container and I'll mix it myself.

I have a 10X15' section of grass that turns brown from Nov to May. I plan to kill it and reseed this year but needed the section to look good for a week or so. I took the Lawn Star and diluted it 50/50 and used the spray bottle to apply. It dried and the next day it rained. The tint held up 100%. It took a hour or so to do but i am happy with the results.

Wow - this stuff really works !!! Unlike others, I had absolutely NO problems with the spray bottle. It worked perfectly. I have tall fescue - I take very good care of my lawn and it is a beautiful dark green. Every month there is some inconsiderate idiot that walks their dog down my street and lets their dog urinate on my lawn. I had 2 large patches of dead fescue because of this a few weeks ago. I couldn't wait to try this product. I went out there and sprayed as directed - and before my eyes - the dead patches were gone! Wow - where has this stuff been ? It is awesome !! After a couple of hours I went to check the patches and the paint had now fully dried - I ran my hands through the lawn - and nothing came off on my hands. I walked on it - nothing came off on my shoes. Then the big test - the next morning I ran my sprinklers for 30 minutes - and NOTHING came off - the paint stayed on the grass. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product - it absolutely works as advertised. If you are sick of dead spots on your lawn from either your own or from inconsiderate neighbors - this is a must have.

I had some dead spots on my lawn and this product made them look good until I can seed those locations. I have several recommendations though. 1) Buy the concentrate as this bottle doesn't go very far. 2) Wear rubber gloves as it is VERY messy. 3) Keep your dog inside or it will bring green paint into the house. 4) Take off your footwear before coming into the house to keep paint outside.

Our dog leaves burn spots. I generally de-thatch them and use a lawn spot repair seed. So throughout our lawn you see bare spots with turf builder. However before we have a large outdoor party (maybe 3-4 times per summer), I leave the thatch (which is basically brown grass) and spray this on it instead, to make our lawn look a close to perfect as possible. Yes, I have become lawn obsessed because we paid a small fortune for sod and my dog is destroying it slowly but surely. So I fully understand that painting grass green is super weird, neurotic and kind of gross. But I dont care!
