Love this product

Love this pitcher. Perfect compact shape. But holds a lot of liquid. And it arrived in perfect shape-carefully packaged. Some reviews say they have a screw on lid. Mine doesn't screw on, the lid sits perfectly on top and fits well.

Perfect for cold brew coffee. Could't be easier.

I use these pitchers with No Mess Cold Brew Coffee Filters on Amazon. Fill these disposable sock-type filters with ground coffee, place two of them in the pitcher, fill pitcher with water, let brew in refrigerator for 24 hours. Throw away the filters and have half a gallon of delicious cold brew coffee. Couldn't be easier. Easy to tightly close the pitcher top. Just hold the top's outer edge still while rotating the inner handle until tight. The strings from the filter are held outside the pitcher. Pours well also.

Nothing compliments that lifestyle better than a good quality glass and stainless steel

My family an I are homesteaders. We live and breathe natural organic living. Nothing compliments that lifestyle better than a good quality glass and stainless steel! This glass pitcher is AWESOME! Made of highest quality, heavy, thick glass. It's the perfect fit for storing our liquid gold (raw goats milk) in. The lid is wonderful, too! There is a trick to it, though. You must hold the rim of the lid with fingers on one hand and turn the center dial clockwise with fingers of the other to get the pitcher as air tight as you need it to be as it gets tighter and tighter with every turn. All parts are dishwasher safe, which is important to me since this is a way I ensure all of my milk storage containers are sanitized! You will not regret this buy! I get compliments on it often!

Love this glass pitcher!

What a lovely pitcher! Modern and classic all in one design. It is in constant use to make herbal ice tea in my fridge. The lid that seals it works great - no fridge odors in the tea. I was a little worried about the size being too small but it's perfect and any larger would make it a bit heavy for me. Will be purchasing more of these for gifts!

Glad I chose this one!

I really struggled with the decision between this pitcher and another, prettier one with a bigger handle. My main concern was that, without being able to hold this one, I wouldn't really know whether this handle is as small and ungainly as it appeared to be. But I reeeeeeeeeeeally wanted an airtight container for my fresh-brewed tea. I ultimately chose function over form. Though the other one was pretty, it was taller (not a plus for my fridge), it wasn't as easy to store in the door of the fridge, and we don't have company over all that often anyway. Besides, I reassured myself, if I didn't like the square one with the airtight seal - Amazon is great about returns. I could just send it back, right? Well, you can TRY to take this thing from me, but I don't think you'll have much luck! I love the way the inner "dial" of the lid creates an airtight seal. You just have to try it a couple of times for yourself to understand. The lid just sits on top of the opening and you twist the inner dial and it creates suction and provides an airtight seal. You can take the whole lid apart for cleaning and put it back together again - believe me, if I can do it anybody can. The glass is substantial and the handle fits my hand just fine. I don't have little bitty lady hands, either - I have what Sheldon Cooper of Big Bang Theory would call "Nebraska man-hands" - and I don't find the handle to be too small at all. So... I'm not so disappointed about leaving the pretty pitcher behind - this is far better suited to our needs.

Nothing better than glass

I'm an avid ice tea drinker this pitcher is perfect for iced tea, juice, kool-aid what ever. The wide mouth is great for the inside cleaning as tea will leave a residue after awhile. The air tight lid keeps it tasting fresh from the first glass to the last even if a week old which rarely last that long in my house. The one thing that took me a minute to figure out was the lid. You put it on then hold the outer ring as you twist the inside handle which creates your air tight seal. I'm about to order a second one nothing tastes better than something in a glass container and I believe a lot healither than plastic BPA free or not.

Don't use plastic milk jugs for tea!!

In the past I always made the wife's and my iced tea and stored it in plastic milk jugs. The other day as I was filling the wife's a small split developed and you'd have enjoyed the goat rope that ensued. LOL...... Darn lucky it did it at the sink and not in our new fridge. Scanning Amazon I found these that fit perfect in the door slot. Two, side by side. I always make our tea, hers with lemon, mine without and double strength so it tastes good after the ice melts. These are perfect. Can see the contents. Don't stain and with a twist of the top seal nice and tight. Fit in the fridge door too!!

Wide mouth great for cleaning!

I have three of these now and may get a couple more. I'm ridding the kitchen of all plastic storage and these nice, sturdy glass pitchers are a great size for the fridge and the dishwasher - though so far I hand wash them. The large opening helps with cleaning too so yo don't need a special brush. Also the cap is very clever, you give it a twist and it expands to seal the top and it really holds liquid in there.

Perfect! I am using this for cold brew coffee. It works wonderfully at keeping my coffee fresh and sealed from fridge odors. I am very happy I don't need to worry about plastic leaching into my yummy coffee

All manufacturers should package their glass pitchers as well as this one. I have never seen such superb packaging. Another glass pitcher from a different manufacturer that I ordered from Amazon arrived completely shattered, but these will never arrive broken. So impressed with this manufacturer. Now, on to some of the other features of this pitcher. For economy of space in your fridge, it's perfect. The footprint is ideal and I didn't have any issues with pouring if I did it carefully. Too fast and you'll get drippage. The lids can be tricky to figure out, but if you hold the outer edge in place while twisting the center part, you get the tight hermetic seal. As far as the temperature of the liquid: I had NO issues with either hot or cold liquid, and figured I would based on other reviews. Since I ordered 4, I was willing to test one to see if I could use it to make hummingbird nectar. I ran a pot of water through my Bunn coffeemaker so it would be hot enough to dissolve the sugar but not be boiling. I mixed the nectar in my 8 cup pyrex bowl with spout, and after dissolving the sugar poured the nectar into this pitcher. No breakage. Your mileage may vary. From now on, this is the only glass pitcher I will order.
