and photography is his favorite hobby when we're on the road
Hubby was very excited about this Christmas present. We travel quite a bit for pleasure, and photography is his favorite hobby when we're on the road. I'm excited about not having to hold an umbrella over his head and the camera for all those great shots!! haha!

Fit with the 300mm zoom lens attached
This cover kept my DSLR and 300 mm zoom lens dry in the windy, rainy weather of Iceland. It was a little awkward getting used to but worked as I’d hoped. Recommend.

Worked Very Well!
I bought this cover specifically because I was going to the Amazon River in Perú during the rainy season. I ordered it last-minute and got it in time to travel - good job on shipping the product. We did not get rained on as much as anticipated, but this cover worked great when we did get rained on, even covering the big 80-400mm lens I had mounted. I was able to use the view finder through the clear plastic - works fine. I was able to work the camera functions through the hand slots - not that I made many adjustments, but I was able to do what I needed most. The only caveat is that you need to make sure the cover is somewhat loose around the lens, or it might interfere with adjustments you make on the fly. For smaller lenses (most normal lenses), you'll want to make sure the cover doesn't inadvertently drop over part of the lens while shooting. Overall, I'm very happy with this - this cover will stay in my camera bag from now on.

Peace of mind
Haven't had much chance to use the rain cover this summer, but worked great when it was needed. Doesn't take up much room in the camera bag but it is nice to know it is there. I am sure it will get more use this fall and winter.

Helped my 5D Mark III survive Iceland!
Used this for my trip to Iceland and it worked great. It was pretty rainy for 10 days straight and this didn't leak at all and allowed me to take beautiful pictures without getting water on the lens.

Works as described, no problems. I intend to use it more in snow than rain because you can get some beautiful shots of snow falling without getting snow on your camera. I use a Nikon d3400 with 18-55, 55-200 and 70-300 lenses.
