I did not know these detangler brushes work so good. I do not struggle as much now lol! I use this on my daughter thick hair to. It makes it so much easier to comb after using this brush.

Great for any type of hair!

Best detangling brush I've ever owned. I'm an African-American woman and my hair can get tangled a bit after showering. It is amazing what this brush can do. It detangles my hair easily, without pain, and without taking out too much hair. I wish I had this brush growing up!

I'm a single dad with 3 girls my youngest is 4 years old and has always been a fight with her to brush her hair she would cry and scream when i would brush it to get the knots out I always figured a brush is a brush but Felt badd When my four-year-old would cry so I figured I would give this a try brushed her hair tonight she was Happy smiling and talkative while I was brushing her hair she said it did not hurt her 1 bit Kind of weird to say but this inexpensive Little thing has made bath night enjoyable again for me instead of dreading after bath time I gave the other brush to my 8 year old daughter she loved it she also quit complaining about brushing her hair and let my twelve-year-old daughter try it she said can you buy me one too just ordered another one Highly recommend

Made a believer!

Now this brush was a pleasant surprise. I am an avid lover of my wet brush for tangles and knots in my long hair. I gave one to my husband (obviously short hair) who first mocked me and laughed it was too hard for his head... (He doesn't like change) so I left it in his bathroom just to be there. 2 weeks later.... He comes out of shower yesterday holding his brush saying it's the best ever and claims it massages him too.... (I smile). Wife winning! I love it on my hair dry (not when it's wet it tends to break my color treated hair, so having the wet brush and this one as my "dry brush" my hair is very manageable. I do recommend giving it a chance and not writting it off just based on one use.... Give it a chance.

So far, amazing!

I just received this today and based on the first brush through of my hair, I am in love. I have very long, coarse hair that tends to wave/curl. This all equals major snarls. It had gotten to the point where I never brushed it because I would just start ripping my hair out of frustration. So my hair styles were ponytails and buns. Not much fun. I started to run this through my hair and I can't believe how well this worked. I am wondering if the people who gave this a bad review are not using it correctly, especially the ones mentioning their scalps. You should be starting at the bottom of your hair and moving up to get the tangles out. I have no regrets buying this so far. As I don't wash my hair everyday, its important that it works so well on dry hair. Plus, it pulls out the hair that would normally be clogging up my shower drain. I'm going home to flat iron my hair, now I know I won't get super, super mad trying to brush out my hair.

Comparable to the originals!

Perfect! My kids were given two similar brushes as these as Christmas stocking stuffers 2 years ago. Needless to say one was lost & one just will not do for both kids. The original brushes were quite expensive @ $20 a piece & I thought surely Amazon had knock offs of these...Sure enough other brands had copied the design & to my luck I bought these two brushes for under $6 TOGETHER! They are identical to the original brushes & so far, perform the same.

Great for tangles!

I was skeptical about these brushes but they were so highly rated I decided to give them a shot. As the description says they remove TANGLES, not knots. I noticed people complaining in their reviews that it wasn't able to remove the knots in their hair... Of course it doesn't, and they don't claim that it will. But does a VERY good job removing tangles quickly and without pain. The bristles aren't in a spongy or porous surface so there's no worry of water or hair products being absorbed and building up residue. You can easily remove hair from the brush and spray the bristles clean in the sink or shower. This is especially important to me because my old paddle brush had lint and dust build up on the spongy surface the bristles attached to and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't wash, comb, pick away the residue. That residue would transfer to my hair when I used the brush and it made it look like I had dandruff. This brush works on soaking wet hair and on dry hair. I'm very happy with it.

Great brushes

I've bought these kinds of brushes before but not this brand. I needed the old ones replaced as the bristles were breaking off. I noticed these bristles are slightly different and have a bit more give. And I'm going to say i like that. Used it last night on both of my daughters hair. One has tight coily curls and the other has bouncier curls. Both get insanely tangled. These brushes knock down how long it takes to detangle by about 85 percent. No joke. And definitely not as painful. I know because I use it on my own curly hair. I still have nightmares about have my hair combed as a child LOL. 2 brushes for a great price that do a great job. I'll definitely by them again from Art Naturals. I like these better than the last set I had.

Cute useful hair brush

These are handy little brushes, (no pun intended). I bought these because I needed a brush for traveling and one to keep at my boyfriends house. They do glide through wet hair pretty easily and the shape quite nicely fits your palm. My hair is pretty thin and straight for reference. They are pretty much pain free, as they don’t have those little balls on the end that can pinch and pull hair. Overall, pretty nice little brushes.

Best bang for the buck at < $10; we still have and use these 3 years later!

I purchases these 3 years ago (time flies...) originally for my wife I believe because she has curly hair and is always brushing it to detangle it at night/in the morning. I was also looking for a good brush for myself to use in the shower as I have a dry scalp so I have problems with products getting to my scalp from my really curly hair. I like to brush my hair while in the shower with brushes that have stiff thick bristles such as these to get products nice and deep to my scalp and also like the feeling of them scraping my scalp as it feels like it's actually cleaning it. Needless to say 3 years later these brushes are still holding strong and are used on a daily bases. You can't go wrong with these at the price and you get two!
