So much bird food!

Who knew you could order such a large quantity of bird food. We got this for my son's parakeet - the bird loves the food, and we love buying in bulk and saving a ton of cash!

Birds love it

I was buying something for my Baby and Angel's feathers and digestive tract, plus seeds. Now I just buy the Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health seeds. They love it and I was able to change from my old food to this in seven days without any digestive upset for them. I also love that I can buy a four pound bag at a great price. One of my bags came with a split in it and 98% of the seeds had gone through the box. They promptly sent me a new bag to replace it. I am happy, my keets are happy. Great buy, great food, down to one bag for all needs. Highly recommend.

We're so glad we found this food

Our parakeets were going through cuttlebones at the rate of one a day and they were literally tossing their food, the bag that came from the pet store, into the floor looking for some morsel they were missing. We gave them this food and they stopped both behaviors. I'm thrilled with this bird food.

Our birds prefer this feed

I had purchased some food previously from a pet store, so, I put this bird feed in one feeder and the store bought seed in the other. The birds prefer this bird feed and their is none of the food (other than casings) that they throw away. The store bought feed had a lot of filler items that the bird wouldn't eat. This is their favorite and has a lot less junk in the bottom of the cage after.

Excellent seed.

This seed is great. My birds loved this stuff. It was always just what they wanted. If I bought something different then this seed they would just throw it all around looking for the perfect seed. I never had that problem they just gobbled this up.

Excellent.there is nothing better than Kaytee brand bird food.very fresh parakeet food.the smell is wonderful.full of fresh fruits.

AMAZON PLEASE PACK IT BETTER!!!

This is good for the price. My budgies seem to really like it and eat most of it unlike other foods I have gave them. This is mostly seeds and very little of that hard fruit. That being said 2 out of the 3 times I have ordered from amazon the bag was damaged and there was spillage everywhere which is hard to collect and some of it was wasted. Needs to be better packaged from amazon. I still give it 5 stars since the shipping from amazon to me is not directly Kaytees fault.

Ordered THREE TIMES

This bird seed is exactly as described, but I had to re-order this THREE TIMES because each time it would come in ripped and opened. The third time it came I just gave up on it entirely because it came in broken again. Don’t expect to get intact bird food unless you’re lucky. I did not deduct a star because I rated it based on the actually item, the fact that it came in broken has nothing to do with the quality of the bird seed.

My budgies love it

My flock of budgies love this stuff. I will say though that Amazon needs to package the bags better. I've had to return them a few times because the bags slam against each other in the mail and they pop. But Amazon is good with refunding for that, too. A word of advice - don't bother trying to get the bag to re-seal. I use a Vittles Vault to store mine and I love it. Edit 3 years later: I'm up to 10 budgies now and so I buy this in the 25 pound bag. These bigger bags have arrived damaged once or twice in the past, but they haven't done that recently. It was the 5 pound bags that popped in the mail more often.
