I looked long and hard for a product that would make eggs in the microwave, but was also dishwasher safe, bpa, and Phthalate free. I'm glad I bought this Sistema. It's perfect. I loved it so much, I bought more, so the family can make their eggs however they want them. I do use two at the same time in the microwave, and just adjust the cooking time for a few seconds longer. Microwaves vary, but for me, their instructions of 40 seconds, stir, 40 more seconds, just turns into 40 -44. It's pretty close, and that's with two. We enjoy making our own little mini omlettes, but much healthier as we don't need any butter or oil. It's so simple... add an egg, scramble with a fork, add a dash of milk, scramble again to mix well. Add whatever fresh herbs, seasonings, cooked or soft veggies, or cooked meat you'd like, and use the cooking times above. Clean up is a breeze, since it's dishwasher safe. No issues at all, except how everyone wants their eggs. Right now, scrambled on a english muffin seems to be winning. Another tip, is to precook a potato, and dice before adding, so you have that lovely hasbrown and eggs dish. Or if you love cheese, add shredded after you take it out of the microwave, for a real treat, then close the lid. The heat melts it. The eggs come out cleanly, for us, so it's easy to plate. This is definitely something we are using several times a week, and it's much healthier than eggs on the stove. Plus, everyone can design their own. I love it, and really was surprised at how fast and easy it was.

This has to be one of the best inventions known to man. i use it at work and love it. Super easy, super fast. I cook a strip of bacon in it for a minute and then add the egg. 40 seconds on one side, flip and 20 more seconds. Bagel from the toaster, slice of cheese and done.

I have to admit I was skeptical but the reviews were so positive that I thought I'd give it a go. I made my eggs this morning with liquid egg whites, grated jack cheese, and chives and it came out beautifully and so quickly. I had to cook it a shorter amount of time than on the package directions. I have a 1100 watt microwave, so cooked 40 seconds, then stirred and another 30. The egg puffed up so nicely. Sure saves a lot of time and is so much easier than cooking on the stovetop in a frying pan. I did not add any butter and the egg did not stick at all. I think this would be a great gift for a disabled friend of mine who is very independent and likes to cook his own breakfast. Also, really easy to clean with warm water and a little detergent.

I was extremely hungry this morning and decided this was the perfect morning to finally use my Sistema Egg Cookware. I read the instructions on the back of the package, I had saved them because I forget everything, but something seemed off. There's no way that 1 egg is going to cut it. So I instantly ignored the instructions and opted for 2 eggs instead of 1, two tablespoons of shredded cheese, two tablespoons of crumbled bacon and a squirt of water (didn't have milk). Microwaved for 1 minute, stirred, microwaved for another minute...stuffed it in my gob and it was delicious! Seriously though, this device couldn't have been easier to use and gave me a fine two-egg scramble in just over 2 minutes. It tasted great, the texture was soft and fluffy (for those of you who have microwaved eggs before, you know how tough they can get) it was TOTALLY worth the time and money to purchase this item. I will look for reasons to buy other Sistema products because of this Egg Cookware!

This makes the perfect frittata, quickly and easily. The product itself I give 5 stars to, the instruction not so much. I had to do some experimentation on my own to figure out what works best because at first the egg was still liquid and then it got overdone. Now, however, I think I have found the the perfect recipe (at least for my microwave). You can use up to two eggs and whatever mix-ins you want or have on hand. I always add a splash of milk too for fluffiness. I cook in the microwave on high for one minute with the vent close, then another two minutes with the vent open. When all is said and done I have a three minute breakfast that cooks on its own while I'm getting ready. Note: the more filling you put in, the less egg it's going to fit and it can overflow. I also find it to be very nonstick. The frittata just slid right out without any trouble.

Sure, you could fill a skillet with a little bit of water, place it on the stove, crack an egg into it and then wait for it to simmer while bathing the yolk in the hot water to make sure it turns out perfectly, then find a tool to lift the egg out of the pan without breaking the yolk or getting water on your breakfast sandwich — or you can just buy this handy little thing, and in 40 seconds, or the time it takes to butter an English muffin, you could be taking your first bite of a delicious faux Egg McMuffin! I don’t usually invest in single function kitchen items but this is totally worth it.

Great product. Eggs turn out very well and no need to use butter or cooking spray. It takes a few tries to get the timing perfect for how you like your eggs but well worth the effort for prepared eggs in record time.

I love this egg cooker and use it every day. I have noticed one thing about scrambling eggs before cooking that you should be aware of... If you just crack an egg or two and cook them with the container locked and with the steam escape hole open, there's no problem. But I have found that the more I scramble the eggs before cooking the more they rise inside the container. A light scramble they don't rise much. But if I really scramble them then they rise so much they block the steam escape hole and POW! the thing explodes even with it being locked. So now when I really scramble eggs I leave the lock open so the lid can rise with the eggs... no more explosions and the eggs cook just as well. :D

I really like this product! So easy to use to cook eggs for homemade egg McMuffins. Add and egg or two, add a little cheese, a little milk, and some salt. Mix up with a fork. Close lid and cook in microwave for 45 seconds or so. Open microwave and open lid and mix the eggs. Close the lid and pop open the vent in the lid this time. Cook again for 35-45 seconds. Eggs cook in the circle shape and are great to add to an english muffin or a piece of toast!

Works egg-actly as advertised! (Ha!) perfect for dorm room cooking. I put in chopped onion, tomato, spinach, bacon bits, and topped with a little cheese. So good!!
