• 3/8" DC 12V Solenoid Valve Both power lines can be connected with positive and negative poles
  • VITON gasket.VITON gasket.VITON gasket.
  • Valve Type:Direct Acting, Wet Armature
  • Suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, very low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), oils and hydrocarbons, e.g., gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.
  • Ideal for for: do-it-yourself projects, moderate temperature applications, water exchange for aquarium, air horn, or bleeding moisture from an air tank.

I used this solenoid with my RDS fuel tank so that I could fill my fuel tank with a flip of a switch from inside truck cab. Seems to be made of good quality.

I have been using this for a couple months now on my well pump that feeds my sprinklers. It functions well and was a breeze to hook up.

Works great for my air horns. The only suggestion I would make is that they include some sort of mounting bracket. Since the only mounting option is the two threaded holes in the body you can only mount it to a flat surface that you can get to from the back. This makes mounting to the firewall or something similar a bit tricky.

Works great. I recommend installing an in line filter before the fuel gets to the valve. Keeps the dirt out to ensure proper closing.

I installed this on my sandrail as an auto fuel valve (key on open key off closed) to prevent carburetor flooding (fuel tank above carb) when it's not running. Works like a charm easy to install and wire in just a basic and simple solenoid.

Works as it should, all brass construction and heavy. We use these for air cannons and turn them on and off very fast.

Using as a valve on a 63 gallon auxiliary Diesel fuel tank. When I was researching for a valve, I heard about the valve overheating if left energized for too long. Another review stated installation of a 100 watt 5 ohm resistor inline with the power lead takes care of the overheat issue. Did it and used it when towing my 5th wheel from NoDak over to Puget Sound and back. No problems.

Works as expected. Used to control Diesel fuel from auxiliary tank in my Ford F-250. Placed a rocker switch on dash and not have control of fuel flow from tank without having to exit the cab.

I use this valve to stop water flow to my garden watering system. My system uses a diaphragm pump that is gravity fed from a rain barrel, so this valve stops water flow when the pump is off. Its timer controlled and solar/battery powered so everything needs to be 12VDC.

I used this as a purge valve for my house water filter. I use a 2amp 12VDC wall plug. Takes about 1.5 second to charge then the solenoid turns on, opening the valve. Turns it on for one minute once a week. So far, no issues. Not bad for $25.
