Compression gauge review!

This works very well.I've had it for a few months now and I've never had any problem out of it. I leave it at work and use it everyday. Makes my job a whole lot easier. It was very affordable I had bought one in the past for over $100 at a part store and I had alot of issues out of it..This one was alot cheaper and has way better quality.so my over all rating on this product is a 10/10.

A complete kit for every kind of engine

The kit came earlier than expected. Immediately on opening, I took a close and critical look at all the components. Everything looked and felt quality, higher quality than I expected especially after reading the negative reviews. I've already used the kit to check out a quad's engine suspected of having low compression (and it did). Always so much better to give the customers actual numbers rather than say to them, "we're pretty sure, but we're just guessing that you have low compression." The spark plug hole was deep in a well, but the kit's attachments made getting the reading quick, easy and repeatable. I think we are going to get a lot of use out of this thing.

A really nice kit... even at twice the price

I am very happy with the quality of this kit. The price was less than $20 USD when I bought it, so I thought it would just be 'OK'. It's actually very well made. Even the case it comes in is good. It is made of suitable (fairly thick for a case) plastic. I bought this kit for my hobby of working on cars and motorcycles, I don't foresee having to replace this kit anytime soon... maybe ever.

Awesome Test Unit

This product may not be industrial rated but it's pretty nice and seems to work correctly. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and I have loaned it out to several friends who thought I paid a lot more for it than i did. I as well as others believe it ti be very accurate and it comes with the storage case for all the accessories. I think it was a great buy.

Worked perfect.

Seems like good quality.Great price. Nice case. Had the right adapter for my Chevy. Easy to read dial. Measured all 8 cylinders accurately. Not sure of the longevity, but I don’t do much engine work, so this should last me a long time.

Must have kit for home mechanic

Every DIY mechanic needs this kit to know the engine cylinder pressure before run into any crazy fix. If the pressure is significantly low, or much difference between dry and wet pressures, chances are the engine is not worth fixing. I have been using this kit for multiple of my cars as well as friends’, the spark hole adapters fit them all

Very adaptable for large and small engines

The first shipment of this product contained a faulty gauge. Amazon immediately shipped a replacement, and it works perfectly. Nicely done by Amazon and 8MileLake.

Good so far.

So far so good. Used on several different outboard engines. Guessing the accuracy is correct. Don't have anything to compare to. Seems to be built pretty good, I'm not gentle on tools.

If you bought it expecting Astro quality feel look somewhere else thats not what this is. Does it feel cheap? It doesnt. I wouldnt call it a high premium tool but it has worked everytime I have used it. Would I buy it again. Yes
