I bought a Singer EM200 and really love it. I have had no trouble with it thus far. I have always had a Singer and this machine lives up to its great name. Singer has a support line. They are very good. But, I do wish it would come out with a few videos on how to use it as Singer does with it's other machines. The company reassures that it will.

This is my second embroidery machine (Brother SE400). I really wanted a larger field, but just couldn't bring myself to pay thousands of dollars for a field this large. I went into this not expecting the best, especially after all of the other singer embroidery reviews. I really love this machine and am very happy with it. I first read the manual and when I received this a week before Christmas I immediately started using it. I will say there is a definite learning curve. I don't use the machines preset tension (2.8) I usually bump it down to 2.2 or 2.0. I love the large embroidery field, especially for the price of the machine. The touch screen is easy to use and I really like the easy snap hoops. Even better then my brother hoops. I just make sure that I am extra careful and insert them straight because of people saying that the machine quits registering them after a while. I have made t-shirts and other personalized gifts with this and have had no problems. I have had no problems importing designs into the machine from the provided USB stick. I will say this is not a machine for the beginner, definitely get a brother if you are just starting out. This machine is a little loud but everything has stitched out beutifully and I have used it almost everyday for personal use and for use in my shop.
