I run an animal rescue and also work at a police department. One day a lovely citizen came to the PD with a shoe box, duct taped shut, containing 4 sick kittens. Of course I took them. How could I not? I've got a bunch of other animals - both my own choice and "foster failures" that have problems so I had to sequester the kittens in our bathroom. Quarantine is sometimes necessary. Anyhow, they and their litter box (which they use exceptionally!) made the room smell like the monkey house at the zoo so I bought this candle. I love it. It works so well and my little stinkmuffins are so much more loveable now that they don't smell so bad.

I like this candle a lot. $22 is a lot of money to pay for a candle though. Evergreen forest is perfect for the holidays. I want to try other fragrances, but am reluctant because what if I don’t like them! Seems to help greatly with dog smell in the living room. Even smells when it’s not lit. Have burned for several hours and it’s burning nicely-not too fast. Friends recently came over for dinner and commented how nice the living room smelled-and they own four dogs!! That’s what made me log on and review. I’m going to buy her one for Christmas!

Five stars from a co-founder of a dog rescue

First off, I just started using this company’s wax melts and candles and let me say... they are incredible. We run a not for profit dog rescue and we have a lot of dogs in this house. These wax melts deodorize without making the entire house stink like artificial cover-ups or dangerous plug-ins. It is a light scent that doesn’t upset your senses and actually does what it is intended to do. Yes, even with pet urine and odor. I love this candle. I burned it for 5 hours the other day and it didn’t put a dent in the wax. It will last a long time! The packaging was fantastic! It comes protected in its own bubble wrap that is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Really cool! Would make an awesome gift given the presentation, but I love that I can reuse this jar when it’s done burning. I highly suggest this candle and the wax melts! You’ll be happy you tried it and the amount and how long it lasts is far greater than the price.

It really works!

I had a family member with terminal cancer that caused open wounds. The odor was really bad. These candles were amazing!!! The candles completely eliminated the odor in the house. I highly recommend this product. Also, it comes in a beautiful jar. Edit: I want to edit my review. Other reviews make reference to the scent not being strong enough. That is what is so great about this candle. Its purpose is not to overpower the negative odors. It truly eliminates the bad odors. If you want a candle with a strong scent, this is not the candle for you. However, if you are looking for a product to eliminate bad odors, you will not find anything better than these candles.

Great for pet odor, and smell fantastic!

These candles are fantastic! They smell great, and do a great job of eliminating any odors in your house, not only those from pets. They do work best if you burn them for 1-2 hours at a time, but will get rid of the smells of wet dog, fecal smells, urine odors, and I’ve even found them useful for cooking odors. I’ve had 3 candles now (the first arrived shattered, and was replaced; the next three arrived in perfect condition). I highly recommend these candles. I purchased the Vanilla Creme Brûlée scent. I often get headaches from powerful scents, but have never gotten one from these lovely candles!

We foster kittens, but that doesn't mean our house has to smell like it.

We are foster parents to a LOT of kittens, and while we wait for them to find their forever homes, even though we clean the litter twice daily, things can get smelly. I was certainly skeptical about this candle because all the reviews heralded it as some sort of miracle product. But it totally is. The first night I came home that it had been delivered, my partner had lit it and I walked into a house that DID NOT SMELL LIKE CAT despite there being eleven kittens actively everywhere. Poop smell - gone. Kitten fart smell - GONE. General messy kitten smell - GONE. We like keeping our house clean and safe for the little ones in our care, and this helps us feel a little more sane while we take care of our own cats, and take care of the ones still looking for their families. We will continue buying FOR SURE - the candy cane smell is nice: not overwhelming, not too sweet. I'm looking forward to trying new ones as the seasons change.

Skeptic turned believer!

I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical. One magical candle to make my house smell less like a zoo and more like a home? Without overwhelming cloying scents that trigger department store perfume counter flashbacks? This really works. And the scent carries well in our home. We have a fairly open floor plan, and 2 rooms away smell fresh. Getting rid of our pets is not an option, so it's great that this product exists. Ps. It works well for removing the unsavory after effects of my husbands questionable dietary choices too. Bonus!!

Company Even Commented

I have multiple dogs in the house and am always concerned that it smells like that to visitors even cleaning everyday. I have use other candles and melts that add a pleasant smell to the underlying odor, but One Fur All Pet House Candles do better. I have been able to leave the house for hours and when I first open the door, on my return, I don't smell dog. We recently had a house full of people (many of them pet parents) over for Christmas dinner and it was actually commented "Your house smells really nice. How do you keep the dog smell out?" I laughed and told them I was just wondering if the candles were working. I guess I got the BEST answer.

The company is awesome. I liked my first but, but commented that it wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. They actually sent me another one to try. I’m so glad they did. I love both candles honestly. This was about a year ago and I light them often, love them, and still have candle left. My family loves candles and I will definitely be buying these as gifts (dog people!) I highly reccomend these.

Greatest candle EVER!!

Best candle on the market! If you have pets or not- this candle last such a long time and the scents are not sweet and overpowering- just so nice. If your trying mask an odor or just want a beautiful smelling home. This candle is what you want. I use nothing else. LOVE THEM!!!
