This is a great a refractometer

This is a great a refractometer. The instructions were clear, and easy to understand. I'm switching over from a hydrometer, and it's like night and day....... there's no guessing or uncertainty. The results are quick and precise. It's very simple to use, also easy to calibrate, just follow the instructions, use the screwdriver that comes with the kit to calibrate.

Pleasant suprise

This thing was a life saver when dealing with an Ich infection in my aquarium, quite literally. I don't have anything to compare the refractometer to, but it seemed to be pretty accurate when testing it against various samples of water with different salinity levels. The product itself is pretty well made for the price, I expect it to last me pretty much forever, if I ran a salt water aquarium id expect a good 5 years or better before I dropped it or it broke for some other reason. A much better option compared to those plastic needle refractometers

Works great

This is a great refractometer. I've been using this when mixing up salt water and for weekly testing of my marine aquarium. It is easy to read and has stayed calibrated. I calibrated with a 35ppt solution and it was easy to dial in.

Excellent for marine tanks it is so accurate

With this refractometer you never have to worry about your salinity being correct this works great I use the cheap salinity measures to get close when I mix my salt. But I always double check using the refractor I love how accurate it is
