One in a Minion!!! Great set.

A great set. My son loves it! We now have a million minion coasters in the house. ** TIP: I learned I only like 'brand name' fuses beads, either Perler or Hama, as the unbranded beads found cheaply of Amazon or eBay are inconsistent in length and melt too easily. Same goes for the PEG boards. I bought some $1 boards, and the pegs melted into the creations when I fused them.

Great craft, great product

Great craft for all ages. My 14 year old nephew thought it looked stupid at first. Then he said it was oddly relaxing and it's his craft of choice. All the kids prefer it.

Great set for the price!

This is our first perler set and we love it. We have made at least 7 Minions and still the bin is over half full. This is a great bargain for a craft set. The set comes with instructions for making the Minions and three small boards. We do not have an iron but we heat up our cast iron skillets which do the trick quite nicely. I would recommend this set since it comes with a ton of beads, three boards, and an idea card. We love it!! My 9 year old can make them by himself but the three year old does not have the coordination to place the beads on the board.

Work great and a good deal

Thursday night my daughter ran out of a few Perler bead color Black being one of them. I jumped online and found the 6000 pack. Got then Saturday morning. Super quick shipping. 6000 may seem like alot of perler beads. But they go quickly. So such a great deal.

These are authentic beads and a great price point. Essentially every 8-bit design needs a black outline so you might as well by 6000.

Don't buy the Minion Perler Bead kits!

Just stock up on Yellow, and get a multi-pack of the other colors (or build your stock of colors like I did). This works with Superman patterns too. I usually get 6000 of the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and values (white & black). It's easy to think "oh, I'll NEVER use that many beads". This kind of thinking is both wrong and stupid. What's the matter with you? just kidding. It's been said that you can never have too much of a great thing. While I don't specifically believe that (Lobster every night would still get gross after a while), I do believe in being prepared. I'd much rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. Also, seeing 6,000 of any one thing is wicked satisfying!!! If you're thinking about buying this product, DO IT!!! come on, you know you wanna...
