Excellent product, works perfectly with little to no interference!!

This radio transmitter does everything advertised, and it does it well. The transmitter connects to your phone or mp3 player via 3.5mm audio jack, which is convenient, and leaves the charging port open for situations like long road trips (pre-iphone7, at least), where you have to have a navigation app open but still want to play music. The adapter also comes with a usb port built in, so if you have only one cigarette lighter in your car like I do, you can still charge your phone. The only problems I see people having with this device are with the long wire, and some interference. If the wire bothers you, I would suggest going for a bluetooth transmitter, which is wireless, but may cause faster battery drain in your phone, and may experience more interference. If you are experiencing static, I would suggest simply changing the radio station until you find an open frequency for the area. If you find an open frequency in your local area, you probably won't experience any problems until you head into the range of a different radio station. Interference could become a problem on road trips though, but that is the nature of all radio-transmitter devices. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product, and would buy it again!

I highly recommend it, It's the best transmitter around

I bought one of these for my girl about 5 years ago. I liked it so much I bought one for my work truck and one for a friend who was having a hard time finding one that worked well. Find a station with zero or little signal just a little white noise and tune the transmitter to it. Finding a station is the toughest part but once you do the thing works great.

What a cool little gadget

What a cool little gadget. It works perfectly except for a small problem, which is probably user error. Sometime if the android phone or my fingers get too close to the transmitter, the sound thru the radio comes out a little fuzzy, sounding like a radio station that's too far away. Like I said, probably user error as I can just move the parts around and the fuzziness goes away. Great shipper, good price, great product!

Used for 2+ years

I had this product for a little over two years. It worked really well, connecting to my phone, the radio station, and playing the music from my playlist. There were a few time that the bottom of this device that must be connected to the car became loose and I had to manually fix it, but each time after it worked perfectly fine. After using this product for a bit over two years it officially no longer works. But I think it was worth the purchase and I will be repurchasing another one.

Couldn't be more satisfied

This transmitter is fantastic. It legitimately took me 30 seconds to set up and start using. Simple enough for a monkey to use. It's compatible even with my 3 year-old junk phone, and the quality is just wonderful. Sounds exactly the same as if I were listening to any other radio station. And it has a USB port on the plug-in thing, so I can charge my phone while it plays music! The cords are the perfect length for the folks in the front seats. The backseat might be stretching, but who cares?! The only thing left is to see if this thing will withstand the test of time. I plan on treating it gently anyways, so I think it will work out great! I'd buy a hundred if I needed that many.

Next best thing to Bluetooth transmitters

After weeks of being teased by my husband for playing music on my phone instead of the radio I finally got this product. Our car's audio jack doesn't work so I couldn't get a Bluetooth transmitter like I wanted. However, this little thing is the next best thing! It even has a USB port so I can charge my phone while it's playing music. It was easy and quick to set up and if the sound ever becomes less clear it's easy to find another station and get it started. I would highly recommend it.

Very impressed

I drive a car that doesn't have an auxiliary input or a cassette player, so an FM transmitter is necessary to play music from my phone. I figured this would be staticky but better than nothing. However, I very rarely ever experience any static and I've never even had to change the station to a different frequency. The sound quality is just as good as an auxiliary input. The USB port is also very convenient, although I find that the sound quality is better when I'm not charging my phone. I'm not sure if that's a coincidence or not, but it's no big deal. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this product and brand in particular to anyone who happens to drive an older car!

Almost perfect.

It works pretty well - sometimes there is a bit of static, but hard to hear over the noise of my car. While you are selecting a frequency with this device, the numbers are lit up in easy-to-see red, then they go off once you are done. But, if you press the up or down button, the current frequency shows first, and it's only on the second press that it changes the station. This is a great feature. I do wish it were easy to bundle the USB wires and the mini-plug wires so that there was less chance for tangling. Driving long distance you may have to change the frequency to lessen static.

For some reason it seems very difficult to make these transmitters work right but Aukey has it down it seems. This is the second one I bought for my second vehicle because the first one worked so well. It's very simple to work and the connection always seems to be strong with very minor white noise. Would buy again.

Works!

This transmitter works very well, it can overpower my local stations and on an open frequency sounds about as well as you can expect a FM transmitter to work. Charging port works just fine. This is a great solution if you don't want to or can't replace the head unit in your vehicle like a company vehicle. I'm using it with an iPhone but will work with anything that has a standard headphone jack. I'm leaving this positive review because it exceeded my expectations.
