Will work with a DEADBOLT AVOVE LOCK! Very Nice, Reliable lock and good ENGLISH instructions.
I bought this for an exterior door that HAS a deadbolt. After seeing several people here say it didn't fit I figure I would try it, and if it didn't fit, I would use it for my garage door coming into the house. After trying it, it overlapped the deadbolt hole by about 1/2". I took it apart and flipped it around so now the keypad is on the bottom. After taking the screws off the back cover, remove the 2 screws from the top board, 2 screws from the reader, 4 from the bottom board and 1 from the upper housing, you can flip the keys and lower board around. Now, it's all on the bottom including the fingerprint reader, which I think it better for it now moisture and UV can't get on the lens, which is really the only thing that has a seam where moisture "could" possibly get in. After that, programming went easy, especially after watching the video from Taihard on the 2 or 3rd page of reviews. ---> http://www.amazon.com/Arrival-Fingerprint-Keyless-Protection-Password/product-reviews/B013UXLJF8/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_paging_btm_3?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=recent&pageNumber=3 It's easily switchable from right to left handed, and can be set to auto lock or stay unlocked with little effort to toggle between the two. If/when it fails, I promise to update this review accordingly, but so far, it's a nice solid, reliable lock.

This is a great product, great price
Installed perfectly on a standard door. Works perfectly and exactly what was needed. Door handles really work on either the left or right side as described. Beeping sounds from entering numerical codes or finger print scans can really be switched off. Directions are clear enough for experienced capable DIY people. This is a great product, great price, well made, good use of biometric technology.

18 MONTH LATER REVIEW Top notch fingerprint lock
I have bought two of these. The installation is a bit fiddly, but the instructions are excellent. It works better than I would ever have thought, very accurate and reliable. Once you apply your fingerprint, it unlocks in about a second. 18 MONTHS LATER Still have both locks in frequent usage in an indoor location. I've had to change the batteries once, the fingerprint mechanism got a bit unreliable but came back to life with new batteries. The unit remembers up to 100 fingerprints, so if you have a family you should register all their fingerprints on both hands to the lock. This makes it more likely the lock will recognize them. Both locks continue to work very well. The only real problem is that the handles on both units now feel somewhat loose and wiggle a bit. They don;t feel like they will fall off or anything, maybe if U were to disassemble the locks again I would fond a lose screw or something, I have not tried that yet. Overall, they provide excellent security at a good price for an indoor lock. I would still give them 5 stars.

Fantastic Door Lock!!!
This is a fantastic door lock. The door is always in the unlocked state from the inside, and always in the locked state from the outside, until you place your finger on the scanner, and then the outside handle will be allowed to open the door. I don't have to remember to lock the door, when I leave, and I don't have to unlock the door from the inside, whenever I am ready to leave. This is exactly the way I would design a door lock, if I set out to make the perfect door lock.

was worried about buying but Love it
I bought this for my front door. very durable and pretty. fingerprint scanner works well. every once in a while it doesn't read finger the 1st time. don't pull finger away if it fails. just leave your finger on it steady until it opens. always set up a pin # in case finger doesn't want to read but never needed it yet. Great that it has a REAL Key with it in case it dies or stops working. love that the door is ALWAYS locked from the outside. mostly simple install. batteries installed when I got it in October 2018 and still working fine on original batteries (March 2019) I purchased extended warranty because I was worried it would die but so far it is going strong and flawless.

Excellent box to lock up your pistol, not a "safe"
Built very well for what it is. It's a locked box that keeps your loaded pistol out of the hands of certain people. This is not a "safe" that will keep your expensive gun out the hands of determined thieves. I bought this to keep my home defense revolver loaded in the house without the fear of it jostling around in my sock drawer, and I didn't want to bother with keys. It has the added bonus of deterring our children on the way. This does the job extremely well. The box and hinge are sturdy, the numbers are stiff in a good way and the latch spins and locks assuredly. The eggshell foam inside keeps my loaded 2-inch barrel revolver (and speedloader) secure and it won't move around if shook. The box has a nice satin finish that is kind to the hands and the included security cable looks sturdy. For $21 it's a nice lockbox.

Excellent lock
I ordered a second lock. That should tell you what I think about this lock. It is excellent. Very sturdy, good-looking, and it appears to be quite resistant to forced entry. The only negative that I have about the lock is the difficulty of entering new users. Once a user is entered the lock works perfectly. You must however put theq finger exactly in the right place for the lock to work but that's probably enhanced security. Extremely pleased.

This is a very good electronic deadbolt lock
This is a very good electronic deadbolt lock. 5 different ways to gain entry and a passage way feature that allows the door to remain unlocked. For attaching the lock and lever portion, watch the Youtube video instead of workign with the book's instructions. I spent 45 minutes and one broken key with the instructions but only 30 seconds after watching the video. The lock has a nice satin finish and the lever is reversible for left or right hand attaching. The keypad lights up and the fingerprint reader works very well. Mark

Keeps little hands away from dangerous things that go bang.
I bought this safe to keep a Ruger LCP away from my son and to store the gun when I'm not in my truck. Attached to my seat post, I'm quite confident it's not going anywhere unless a thief has cutting tools in hand. The combination lock feels a little cheap and has some play in the dials before clicking in to the number. I drive a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, and it won't fully fit under the driver's seat due to contact between the seat slider bar and the knob on the safe.
