These cameras are awesome . Kept one ( had already ordered a single one to check quality ) Going to give the rest as Christmas Gifts to family Members . They put the fear of god in the scumbags that live on my block . Had one ask if I had a break in , so they are convinced I am stepping up the sercurity at my house . Recommend a no trespassing sign to further send a message . Easy to install !

An effective deterrence without paying high prices for actual security cameras. Granted they seemingly feel cheap as they are made out of plastic, however what do you expect for the price and who is touching them when they are mounted up high out of hand reach. I put my batteries in (2 AA's) and in the dark the face glows red. These have the appearance of the real thing. Looks great!!!

Works as good as actually having cermeras.

These are great. The batteries have been working for more than a year now. I haven't had anything stolen from my house since I put them up and they look real. Great for when you can't trust people you know.

great for the price. Look real from a distance

These are great for the price. Look real from a distance -- especially with the red LEDs, which only go on at night, and in at a realistic level. They are kind of too big; great if placed many feet from intended viewer, not for the front door -- where I'll put a real non-working one. Batteries are easy to replace -- except for the height you choose. I feel confident thieves will be warned off -- even without LEDs.

Great phony cameras. Very believable! Looked cheap out of the box, but after I mounted them they fool everybody.

Great compliment to a real system

Great compliment to a real system. I say compliment because I advise those who point them out as "obvious" that " yes they may be fake" but the real ones are the units you can't find or see ,but trust me big brother is watching. This 2 step approach remains very respected and reliable.

The quality of this was better than the silver color solar powered dummy security camera in the same brand "Masione" the battery compartment was in the top of the unit which is good because it was double protected besides the cover of the battery compartment the hood was the secondary cover to protect the battery not to get wet in rain and it's perfectly tight. The box was not the right one because the picture was silver and it says with flashing red light this one don't which is good since most of the real camera now a days don't have a blinking light. The night vision red light was pretty amazing and realistic look when install at the area with total darkness at night nobody can say that it was fake. I installed this not only in 1 building but most of the building apartment I maintained and my boss was already received a call from detective and cops asking a copy of recording in this camera cuz they said there's a robbery in the neighborhood hoping the camera was captured something fishy. So, congratulation Masione for producing this camera kept up the good work.

I love these dummy cameras

I love these dummy cameras. They appear real looking especially above 7 feet and the multiple LED bulbs in the lens area glow a faint red light giving the illusion to most people of night vision cameras. However I'm incline to agree with several reviewers that modern authentic security cameras don't blink or glow red lights. When my batteries die they're not going to be replaced.

Look very real

I installed these on my mom's house after a intruder threw a boulder through her picture window while she was sleeping then just stole her purse because her dog was barking. They look so authentic and the led's look just like my real cameras. Not sure how long the batteries are going to last. I added wire also from the cameras through a window to make it look even more real.

REAL ENOUGH *****

GREAT price great LOOK.... I added a length of old unused coaxial cable,,and ran it into...NOWHERE under my eves and siding..EVERYONE assumes that they are real...even at close inspection...thanks
