I bought this to clean rocks I collect. Few of the choices had a nicely shaped tank. When I saw this could also handle CDs & DVDs, I knew I was on the right track. I often have stained rocks that can't be cleaned with hot soapy water or even Efferdent tablets. I set this for five minutes... I didn't think it was doing anything because I'd assumed I see tiny bubbles boiling up. But after it was done, most of the stains came off with a RINSE, and a soft brush did all the rest. Rarely do I dance around my home SO happy for the small price of this machine.

As a glasses wearer getting the lenses clean is a top priority. I have used soap using my fingers, eye glass cleaner sprays with microfiber towels and they got got the glasses clean, but left a little to be desired. So I tried the Ultrasonic with just distilled water, I was blown away. as how clean and spotless they turned out. I dried with them with a microfiber towel. I cleaned my wife's glasses and she was amazed. It is great and inexpensive.accessory. I have decided to use once a week along with the sprays for quick cleanings.

This ultrasonic jewelry cleaner has done a fantastic job of cleaning everything I've put in it, from my diamond wedding/engagement ring to my glasses and my watches. I was a bit apprehensive about the quality of this cleaner because the price was so good, but my worries were completely unnecessary. All I used in the basin, as instructed, was cold water and dish soap (Dawn cleans everything!). Worked like a charm. (The reason they recommend cold water is because after a few minutes, the water starts heating up.) The entire process is very simple; the instructions are plain and easy to follow. In addition, I'm thoroughly impressed with the seller as they didn't push a specific cleaning solution, but instead advised the use of home products. Kudos and many thanks!! I highly recommend this sonic cleaner to any person who is looking to take care of their prized possessions, their beautiful investments. I believe this is money (not much!) well spent.

I have a pretty large collection of jewelry. Most of it is necklaces, earrings, and rings that I've had for at least a few years. I've always cleaned my pieces regularly by hand, using either soap and water or polish when needed, but this can be time consuming and messy. This is the first ultrasonic cleaner that I've had or used. I absolutely love it! It's about as simple as it can be to use. Just put enough water in the tank to cover your item, add a drop of dish soap if desired, pick the time you want to use to clean it, add your pieces to the basket or watch stand, close the lid, and push the start button. It shuts off when the timer is up. I then lift the basket out and rinse the pieces off (be careful if you do this over a sink so you don't accidentally lose any), then dry with a soft cloth. My jewelry looks almost new again! Some actually looked better than when I received them! Of course, some things can't be fixed by ultrasonic cleaning, like plating issues or tarnished silver, but I am thrilled with the results so far! I used warm water and Dawn dish washing liquid with the tank about half full. I added quite a few pieces in the basket and used the 3 minute cleaning cycle, sometimes twice, to achieve the great results I did. I could see action through the lid, with some pieces slightly moving while the cleaner was working. Cool! Five stars as a first impression! I cleaned 3-4 baskets of my jewelry and will continue to use it. I will update this review as I have more to add, and hope that it continues to impress me with it's performance. edit- I've had this a few months now and used it a number of additional times. It's still doing a great job and functioning as it should. It's not a miracle machine, however, and tarnished silver still needs to be polished, FYI. It cleans the stones well and takes off dirt and grime that clouds them, especially if you add a drop of degreaser-type dish detergent into the water. If you want your jewelry to look it's best, it just takes a little effort. Also, don't put anything "coated" into this as it can loosen it or etch the finish. I ruined a cheap bead bracelet, but I just wanted to know what would happen. Don't.

I bought this on the recommendation of my dentist and I'm thoroughly pleased with this product it makes little to no noise you step 5 feet away from it and you can't hear it running it works as well as the one in the dentist office. I do own a lot of jewelry and I try to see pieces in the machine and wow they came out clean I really enjoy the product and for the price it's incredibly good thank you so much I highly recommend this product there are a couple settings that you can use depending on what your cleaning there are all kinds of attachments inside so you can clean glasses as well. The directions are very clear and easy to read and as I said before this machine is so easy to use and it's stores Away really well as I don't have a lot of counter space but it is perfect for me thank you

I'll start out by telling you that I did not receive this product in exchange for my review. But my review is good. I am actually using this to clean my father's dentures, and it seems to do an awesome job of that. I have been dropping a Polident in the water also, so they're getting double action. But before I gave it to my dad, I tried it out on some earrings and a couple rings that I didn't really think were very dirty. After a 180 second clean, there was dirt showing in the bottom of the metal tray when I took out the basket. I was surprised and impressed. I believe I put a drop of dish detergent in with the jewelry. There is agitation of the water when it's on, and the blue light looks cool. I can definitely recommend this ultrasonic cleaner.

Product arrived quickly and we immediately broke it out of the box for a test run. Started with our eye glasses and the residual gunk that builds up melted right off. Next some jewelry (steel rings) with the addition of some a little detergent - fantastic! Rings noticeably reverted back to a "like new" brilliant appearance after one wash cycle, so we gave it another 2-3 cycle runs and by the end the rings were remarkably clean (so clean you could see the scratches and dings from hitting it against things...whoops,lol). Very pleased with the products ease, results and not to mention the staff of the company have made it clear they stand by the quality of their product and want you as the customer to feel satisfied, if not more. Looking forward to trying it on my electric razor blades!

I own two ultrasonic cleaners one of which is the Famili FM8000WW. I use this one for only two purposes, to clean my dentures and electric toothbrush heads for my wife and I. It works very well, it's easy to clean, easy to use and is quiet. It looks and feels like a well made piece of equipment. It's the perfect size for cleaning my dentures and toothbrush heads. While I only use this one for two purposes it can be used for a wide range of products. I use my other one to clean the screen and head of my electric shaver, my trimmer blades, jewelry, eyeglasses, etc. This is a very good buy for the price. I would recommend this one to friends and family and buy this again if my other one (over 10 years old) goes up. This type of cleaner tends to last a very long time as long as you use them as directed. If you never used one of these before you'll be amazed how well they clean and husbands buy one of these and clean all your wife's jewelry, you'll make her day!

I do a lot of 3D printing for my business. Recently, I started working with resin printers. After the print is complete, there is still a layeer of uncured sticky resin on most prints. I was looking for an option to help clean these part off easier, as I have developed carpal tunnel in my hands. This ultrasonic cleaner is the answer. Now after I dip the parts in an alcohol bath, i place them in this cleaner with some plain tap water and a drop of dishwater soap. It only takes a couple of minutes and when I take the parts out, they feel clean! Exactly the product you need if you are like me!

Excellent Machine! I have placed water in the tank to prevent 'burnout' and placed a small ceramic in the circular center guide filled with my favorite jewelry cleaner. This allows me to conserve my jewelry cleaner because the capacity of the machine is so large and because that avoided some of the hassle other reviewers had mentioned regarding cleaning the machine since the tub is not removeable. The picture I have posted is the same water I placed in the machine on April 4th, almost 6 weeks ago. I love the preset intervals. I usually drop my earrings and rings in there daily for a quick 90 or 180 second cleaning. I use the extended timeframes for a deeper cleaning, if I skipped a couple of days or if I hadn't removed my jewelry when applying lotion or used some wacky soap at an outside establishment. Works very well!!!! Definitely buy if you have the space for the unit.
