These LEDs certainly ramped-up the cabin illumination in my 2014 Chevy Impala! The white light is slightly blue-shifted, and there's lots of it! I like a "warmer white" better, in particular because black leather and gray carpeting tend to glow "bluish" in bright white light; but that's me. It was necessary to grind back the six spring-metal bulb contacts inside the OEM dome light fixture ( like this: |L ), using a small Dremel grinding wheel, to accommodate these new LED bulbs. That's because the LED circuit boards themselves are a smidge wider than the metal end-contacts are. Note that this modification does not preclude using the OEM incandescent bulbs, should you ever wish to do so again; and the modification is undetectable with the lens fixture reinstalled. Easy peasy. Since these SMD's (Surface Mounted Diodes/Devices) are somewhat "directional emitters", I angled each of the three LED bulbs slightly in the direction that I wanted the light to go. I also removed the OEM dome light's "internal reflector", which "contained" a lot of the light inside the fixture, and directed it through two projector lenses for the rear passengers. We have virtually no rear passengers... And if we did, anything they'd be reading would be "self-luminous" anyway. A BIG improvement! The cabin space is now floodlit when the doors are unlocked or opened. Money and time well-spent on an "almost plug & play" upgrade! The build-quality of these LEDs looks excellent, with considerable attention devoted to heat dissipation. Excess heat destroys LEDs, and these guys do heat up, but nothing like the OEM bulbs did. These are definitely a cut above many of the LED offerings out there, and they perform as advertised. There were no "error issues" and indeed, the polarity is self-correcting with these LED bulbs--no flipping the bulb around if it doesn't light. The packaging is more than adequate, and my four LEDs arrived on time and in excellent condition. The seller has twice contacted me to see if all is well and that I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase. If these Yorkim LED lamps last as they should, I'll consider them to be an excellent bang-for-the-buck, and definitely recommend them! RayB

Yorkim festoon bulbs are by far the best. I own them in 42mm, 36mm, and 31mm for different applications. These give off more light than any other festoon bulb I have purchased (and I've purchased quite a few). They are excellent quality and they have a heatsink which a lot of the cheap LED bulbs don't have. I used these 42mm bulbs for the two dome lights in my car. When one of my friends got in my car for the first time, they were immediately surprised by how much light there was. He said "Did you put LEDs in?" It really is like night and day going from halogen to the Yorkim bulbs. Next time I need some festoon bulbs, I'm getting more from Yorkim.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt the need to express how happy I am with Yorkim's products. I've been looking for a bright and pure white LED to put in my BMW M3. I was also trying to avoid paying $100 for an interior LED kit that's specific for my car. I'm sick of the cheap LED's that have a blue hint and aren't bright. The description of these couldn't be any more accurate as these are actually "extremely bright" and they are pure white. They light up my entire trunk and glove box and are almost too bright for my vanity mirror lights. In the pics I added, the two vanity LED's light up the entire interior (I turned off all the other interior lights to show just how bright these are). I love these and they can't be beaten for the price. I also have the 194 LED Light bulb, Yorkim 2017 Newest, 5th Generation, Interior Lights for W5W 194 168 2825 T10 Wedge 5-smd 5050, Replacement and Reverse T10 White Bulbs (Pack of 10)- White and can confirm they are just as white, but not as bright as these because of the number diodes on them. If you're on the fence about these, get them and you'll love them.

I'm currently using these bulbs in my Veloster Turbo's Vanity and Map Lights. They run cool and are very bright. The pack comes with four so its of superb value. Interior LED's make your car look very classy when stepping in. I also purchased a similar bulb set from Yorkim which utilizes CREE LED's (pack of two but roughly the same price). Those, although a bit brighter, also came with a damaged inductor on one of the bulbs. As a result, I feel that this set which does not utilize unshielded SMD inductors is a much better buy in terms of quality and value.

Bulbs came in a good, easy open package and they had their own tray, not a bag where they hit each other like other manufacturers do. Bulbs are very bright, even brighter than the LEDs they replaced (old LEDs flickered, these ones are solid). Bulbs are a very good quality build, and the backside even works as a heatsink which most manufacturers do not have at all. These also cured an issue (I installed these in the rear of my car) where my front map light LEDs would have a very small amount of light coming from them even with the doors shut and driving. 1 of these is on the same circuit and fixed the issue. Only con from these is that my radio becomes partial static when I have my doors open and they are all on. It's not an issue to me since I don't drive with my doors open.

I was surprised how much I liked these bulbs. The white light seems so much "cleaner" than the old yellow. I also noticed that a couple of sockets were burnt from the heat of the old bulbs - scary. The LEDs are cooler. Now I have to purchase new ones for my wife's car ;-) . I would like to note that some reviewers had problems with flashing. I had this at first till I realized that the contact posts were not as "fat" as the factory units. I took out the new bulbs, compressed the clips, and re-installed and now they are great.

I put these in my 2013 Tacoma and I like them a lot better than the OEM bulbs.... they are definitely brighter. (It's hard to capture the difference in photos but see attached pictures.) I like the whiter color they put out too over the OEM bulbs too. Be sure to measure your bulbs first, I was in a hurry and bought the 31mm first because that's what I read on the net that the Taco used. (I read it on the internet so it must be true) well they were to small (maybe 31mm was for 1st or 3rd gen Tacos) I went back and measured the stock 578 bulb (2nd gen) and it was about 38mm from flat to flat of the bulb. I reordered the 41/42 LEDs to compensate for the pointed ends and they fit perfect. (the 41's have 6 more LEDS too.... so bonus.) The round ends of the LEDs are smaller but they popped right into the housing and are pretty secure too. I've included some other pictures also that might help others for visual reference. I'll have to see how long they last but they come in a four pack so least I have some spares.

I bought these to replace the Festoon LEDs that came in the car when I bought it. The old Festoons had a slight blue tinge to them, and most annoying they would often flicker when the switch is turned on. These Yorkim lights (the 4014 X 10 sized SMD LEDs) were WAY better. No issues with flickering. These provide a bright, even white light (I would say about 4500K, about as neutral as it gets) with a wide spread, very little if any 'hot spotting', and very little glare. An interesting feature for these is that on the backside of the PCB they have pretty nice big heatsinks to expel any heat from the LEDs (not that I could feel any), and this bodes well for the long term life of the lights. As you're getting 4 in a package, they're a great value too. Highly recommended.

I just swapped out my dated yellowish warm incandescent bulb in the dome light of my Scion FRS with this bulb. It's a perfect fit, way brighter, and a very modern WHITE light! I also like that the bulb still gradually dims on and off, as it did with the stock bulb. Also for the price, it's nice to get 4. Hopefully, as with most LED's that are known for longevity, these will not burn out prematurely. If it does I'll edit my review for sure. As of now, based on performance and price, it's a solid 5 star product, IMO.

2004 Mercedes Benz E320 W211 (Originally Halogen) My vehicle actually uses 37mm, but I taped the plastic holder to hold it in place with friction for the license plate. All other festoon lighting inserts into a metal spring connection which compensated for the gap. Hasn't spun around so far and even if it did, these things are very bright and wouldn't be that bad. I haven't tried adjusting brightness, but on my vehicle the dimming/gradual increase in brightness does not apply, its instantly lit.
