I installed it a week ago at my kitchen sink. I installed a dedicated filtered water faucet. All working great, no leaks, good pressure and flow. The water tastes really good too. The smell in the water is now gone. (city water) The great thing is no more buying bottled water. I just bought a $5 glass pitcher (4 litre) and fill it from the filtered water and keep it in the fridge. I refill the pitcher 2 to 3 times a day. I put a label on the filter cartridge with the install date so I know when to replace it. For anyone thinking to install a drinking water faucet in their stainless Steel sink, ie: use a hole saw to put a new hole in sink ledge, it is possible, although it is a slow sawing process as the sink is very hard material, Make sure you have a couple very sharp hole saws ready as the first one will probably get dull fast.

See images. These are the parts needed to adapt the ⅜" lines of this item to the ¼" line that supplies many refrigerators.

I would recommend the Woder 10K-GenII to everyone. My husband did not have a problem with the install. He had been talking about doing this for 3 years. Our water company had done some extra treatment recently and our water was especially awful that even the Brita would not make it drinkable. (The treatment from the water company did flow out, but still had something not quite right) Finally, we decided it was time to install a water filtration system. This really was a good decision. I no longer have another large pitcher in my fridge. We drink more water because it is more accessible - just turn on the tap and fill a glass. Most importantly, though, the taste is so much better. It is just so "clean".

Purchased this on the basis that the extra size would help the filtrate process. just installed. smell no chlorine. taste fine. water does taste like my bottle water. tight access to install under sink cabnet.. did install in basement ceiling right under sink. Happy 3 years before change out.

Water tastes GREAT! This unit actually rids water of more than what is in the Amazon description. When we emailed questions, they got back to us very quickly telling us that the unit DOES filter out PCBs and VOCs, too. They have a PDF with more information, and I think it would be helpful to buyers and beneficial to the seller to post that in the description.

So pleased with the filter. I had no idea you could (or should) filter the entire cold water output of your home's kitchen sink until I found this! This high-volume filter makes it possible, and it makes everything so much easier than using PUR or BRITA pitchers – saving a ton of time over its lifespan... We got the Woder product 4 months ago, and I was able to install it in under an hour. Rather than getting the cheaper Woder unit, we opted for this one instead (with the smart head and easily-replaceable filters) so it would be a breeze to replace them every 1-2 years. When compared with the large PUR dispenser we had previously, this will save *days* of my life every year. Here's the comparison. I figured the PUR dispenser took about 2 minutes of our family's time per day (on average) in dealing with all the filling, cleaning, and filter-replacing. Multiply by 365 and then divide by 60. That's over *12 hours* per year! Saving 12 hours of our lives by not fiddling with the PUR! Compare that to the Woder. It took under 1 hour to install the first time, and done. It will take much less than that when the filter needs a quick screw-in replacement in a couple more years. Not to mention, the overall cost of Woder vs. Pur is roughly the same. It's a no-brainer! Oh, and the level & quality of filtration is excellent, and the taste of the water is fantastic (better than Pur, and for longer). It also means that fresh, clean, filtered water is always accessible with no waiting, even for the kids. The only slight downside is it dropped the flow of the cold water tap slightly, but not a huge deal. We turned down the thermostat on our hot water heater in the basement to 130 degrees, which has had the triple benefit of requiring less cold water from all taps, reducing risk of scalding for the kids, as well as dropping our energy bills. So now we don't use or need to use cold water from the kitchen sink as much as we used to, except for drinking and cooking. Bottom line: Highly recommended, enormous timesaver, and really the best home purchase we've made in a long time.

We bought this filter because we did a lead test and found our water was at 0.06, just above the detectable level in a test. Because we didn't want to keep buying bottled water we looked for a filter that would be easy enough to install but would also lower the lead level. This one meets both criteria. I was able to install it myself and I am very far from a licensed plumber. I did have to go to the hardware store for one adapter because the connection to my faucet was of a different size than the standard size that comes with the filter, but it was a $5 part and was easy to find. And after taking an additional test our lead levels were undetectable. Very happy with this product!

Purchased this along with a new faucet about six months ago. The installation is super easy and the taste of the water is incredible. I used to have a Pur filter on the faucet and would have to replace it every month. Six months after the under-counter install, the water quality is just as good as the first day and taste worlds better than Pur! I highly recommend this.

My house was built in `971. It took me a while to figure out what to do since the left side could not connect to the inlet water shut off valve which was a cinch too small. The 3/8" was slightly too big. After several unsuccessful attempts to use different adapters and a grave feeling of wanting to give up, I finally decided to unscrew the old shut off valve and installed a 1/2-inch x 3/8-inch shut off valve connecting to the 3/8-inch comp. supply line. Even so, it was immensely difficult to make the connection as the space under the kitchen sink was extremely limited. I had to get a 16-inch expansion 3/8" OD x 3/8" comp. hose to connect to the (left hose of the) Woder filter. The successful installation is now rewarding me with clean and fresh filtered water.

Based on all the positive reviews I took the plunge and purchased this unit. The installation is a breeze. I'm beyond the average handy man but this device is very simple and easy to install. Use plumbers tape for added security. No leaks. I took a water test before installing and it was 5.65 parts, immediately after installation it drop to 2.44 parts per gallon. I know this says it takes a week before it fully engages. Looking to see if it will drop below 0.08 parts per gallon. I will update later on how well the filter is doing
