Got this for my adorable 2 year old granddaughter..she just loves it so far ..she is 32 inches tall and can just reach the pedals with the seat all the way forward .. the rear axle does not have ball bearings so i took it apart and put grease on the bushings..attaching a photo to show what i did.. i seen from another reviewer that they had water damage after water was spilt on the back wooden board..so i took it off and the chrome ring around it and sanded it down with 200 grit sandpaper and gave it 5 coats of minwax acrylic clearcoat ..o my it shines now plus should help protect for years to come .. the front wheel does have ball bearings so i put a couple of drops of oil in there.just help it last longer.. the rear tires are a pain to inflate ..tried to put air in them and the tire pops off the rim..so i used painters masking tape and got the tire where i wanted it and wrapped tape around tire and rim so the tape would hold in place while inflating ..worked like a charm..see attached photo .. all in all we love it and our little one does too..hope this helps others to decide on a good fit for there little angel

My 3 almost 4 year old who is not interested in a two wheeled bike yet loves it. The bell is her favorite part I think. The tricycle is sturdy and well made. She's a taller kid for her age and my biggest concern was her legs being too long for the trike (she's 39" tall). It's the perfect size with the seat adjusted to the middle setting. She (we) have received many compliments on the appearance as well. The only word of advice I would give is keep it indoors and dry it off if it gets wet to prevent rust.

Sooo cute! Our 18 month old GrandDarling loves her 1st trike!! She is a tall and sturdy Little Angel, so we decided to get her this full size trike, instead of a smaller, plastic "beginner model". Besides the Schwinn name and excellent quality, we chose this because of the low seat design. The styling makes this choice a more safe, comfortable and steady ride for her as she learns to maneuver and propel it. This trike is a little big for her now, (she can barely reach the peddles when she turns), but by spring, we think it will be a perfect fit! Very happy with this purchase, and couldn't resist the hot pink color choice!

This really is a wow reaction item! My grand-daughter's eyes went wide when she realized this was for her on her birthday! It was lovely to see that reaction. It seems like a really well-built machine from what i can tell. Everything went together really easily and looks like it will last for a good while. It was a huge step up for her from her old plastic tricycle, for sure and once she was on it there was no getting her off..lol! Of course, as a three year old, her first attractions were the leather tassels and the bell! But then she sat on it and really looked happy to be the boss! Lol! OK..that's enough of my happy rant. Thanks Amazon for making it easy for me to make my grand-daughter's day!

Schwinn Roadster Tricycle, Hot Pink This is a beautiful kid tricycle that is sturdy and safe will last long enough to be passed on to another child as the present owner becomes older. I don't understand why other makers don't take the time to design solid, safe, and beautiful children toys of this type. Instead, what we see are designs that are cheap looking, don't have any art to them and are unsafe. That is why Schwinn is a respected brand. We are quite satisfied with this purchase.

This trike is so much better than the standard tricycle you see at toy stores. What makes it better? The center of gravity is great making it less likely to tip over on a sharp turn. Having a backrest makes it much more comfortable for longer distance riding. Another positive is adjusting the seating, which allows you to move the seat front to back for longer leg kiddos. This is a 5 star all the way and heavily recommend it.

This trike is the Escalade of all trikes! Excellent quality, high end, comfortable, and well made! Bought for my 3 year old and she loves it! Only concern is the tires have to be regularly inflated and have the potential to pop. But don't let that hold you back. This bike is made to last!

This trike, for my granddaughter's 3rd b-day, was a no-brainer. She grew out of her little trike, but isn't ready for a 2-wheeler. I loved the style of this classic Schwinn...chrome details, handlebar tassels, wood burned platform, and the deep fuchsia color looks amazing, and expensive! Well, she LOVED IT!!!

This is a great looking tricycle. Got this for my daughter and she loves it. Easy to assemble. Classy look especially the wooden step. The trike seems to be well made and sturdy. Is holding up very well. Great purchase for us.

This tricycle was my daughter's gift for her second birthday. She is in LOVE with her "bicycle." It was a hit among even the adults at her party who couldn't believe what a cool-looking trike it was. "Dude, it's a Schwinn!" they kept saying. My daughter is very petite at 33" tall and so she is not quite tall enough to reach the pedals, but she will grow into it. Even so, she can scoot the trike along with her feet and enjoys riding it very much. Assembly was easy and the quality is superior.
