Great product!

These bottles are amazing! They are very sturdy, totally leak proof, and they wash easily. I use them for juicing and store a few in the fridge for the day, I've even left one in the fridge for a few days and it was perfectly fresh because of the airtight seal. The measurement lines are really nice for making sure I'm drinking enough ounces, that was actually a feature that made me choose these over another brand. I also thought this was a fantastic price for six bottles! I am planning on getting the silicone wraps to protect them, but I had one jostling around in my bag all day and it was fine. I also love that they are glass- better for the environment and no plastic chemicals leeching into my drinks. Great product!

These glass bottles are very nice! They are well made and feel heavy duty enough to last for years. The cap is a hard plastic and has a brushed aluminum/steel cover--they look and function flawlessly. Other reviewers mention that they want a metal cap, but an all-metal cap/lid would not be able to create an air-tight seal without risk of breaking/chipping the glass threads of the bottle. The hard plastic cap with a nice metal finish/cover is functional, pretty, re-usable, and washable. I bought two sets and use them for carbonated beverages (high-pressure C02). Must-have for water drinkers!

This is one of those things that you always needed but didn't know about! I bought these with a Christmas gift card and have used them every single day since. I was nervous to buy them without the silicon grips that you can also purchase to put on these water bottles, but it hasn't been necessary. Having never used glass bottles and being a bit of klutz, I was also worried about the weight of these bottles for travel and that I would have these all broken within a week.But, it hasn't really bothered me! I keep them filled and in the fridge so that I always have to water to grab, since that is all I drink. I have cut down on my use and purchasing of plastic water bottles almost completely! Both the bottle and the lids have survived the top shelf of my dishwasher, and I have upped the amount of water I consumer daily because of the handy ounce tracker on the side of each bottle. I do have to say that I have busted on of these bottles. I took a pretty hard spill in my driveway and my full water bottle broke when it hit the cement. However, I couldn't have been happier with the way it broke. It broke into about 5 big pieces that were easy to pick up and dispose of.

Highly Recommend

I purchased and received these bottles about a month and a half ago. I was pleased with the quickness of delivery and the product was as described. What I really like about these bottles is that they have the measurements printed on the outside of the bottle, in ounces. This was exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted a glass bottle that I could use for certain drinks for which I wanted to measure/control my intake. The drinks (usually) come in a 16 ounce can and I only drink half a can at a time. The other half would either be dumped out and wasted or poured into a container with my best guess as to the amount. With these bottles, I can very accurately measure what I drink and what I save and the second half of the 16 ounces is no longer going to waste. It is preserved in a glass bottle for use a day or two later. The bottle itself is nice size that is comfortable in my hand and the mouth is the proper width either for pouring into a glass or drinking directly from the bottle. I had an issue in which one of the bottles broke, so I mentioned it in a product review. Practico saw my review and immediately contacted me to offer a full refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement and within 2 days, a new set of two bottles arrived on my doorstop, at no charge! This is a true reflection of a company that cares about its customers and stands behind its products. I will recommend Practico to others and will not hesitate to purchase additional products from them in the future.

I kid you not, if Practico sold more of the stuff I needed around the house, I'd never go to Target again! I love these bottles They came promptly and extremely well-packaged. They are nice, solid glass. The lids fit well. They look very elegant and minimalist in the fridge, housing my coffee reserves. They don't leak (and I shake them before pouring out the coffee). They wash very well in the dishwasher. (Re. the reviews questioning how well they wash, just put them in the dishwasher with the bottle opening pointing downward. As soon as the load is done, put them right side up so the moisture can evaporate. Crystal clean and dries in about a half an hour. Easy peasy. If you leave them upside down, they'll never dry.) Here's where things really get good. Three months after ordering them, I noticed that one of the bottles had a small flaw near the neck. (I was saddled with bifocals at a young age, don't judge.) It was like there was a little air bubble in the glass and it had popped inwards during the manufacturing process. The bubble was a bit sharp to the touch and the BF repeatedly assured me that it wasn't going to break off, fall into my coffee, and eventually kill me. But, you know how it is. Stuff gets in your head. So, I emailed Practico and told them about it, asking if it would be possible to replace the defective bottle. Mind you, I'd just spent the better part of two weeks hassling with a cell phone provider that shall go unnamed, but apparently believes that it exists as a company solely to waste large amounts of its customers' time. So, I was feeling a little pessimistic about the outcome of a replacement request three months after a purchase. How wrong I was! Practico asked me to send them some pictures of the flaw, so they could forward them to quality control and they had a replacement bottle in the mail for me the day after I returned the pictures. Bing, bang, boom! In addition, the customer service rep I dealt with (Woo, Karina!) was so on top of things and so sweet and helpful. You read that right, over the course all my email communication, I was always dealing with the same person. No bouncing around and having to explain the same thing over and over again to 3 different reps who just want to check you off their list way more than they want to fix your problem. Karina also said, for my convenience, they would not require that I return the defective bottle. Saving me a trip to the PO or UPS on my day off! I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. The replacement bottle arrived today and I was elated to find that they actually sent me another set of two! As I've mentioned, they're very well-packaged. And the inner packaging looks like it was boxed up in the factory or whatever. So, it was probably just a lot easier to just send me two bottles than break apart a set, but I don't care why they did it. It's that extra mile, that lack of nickle and dimming that just has me over the moon. So, seriously, buy these bottles. They're great. And buy anything else you like from this seller with the knowledge that the service will be absolutely top notch. They should consider consulting for that unnamed cell phone provider, as a sideline. ;)

Practical, Leak-Proof & Great Looking Storage Bottles at Great Price

Just got two of these, only needed one but came in set. I got it to store my half & half for coffee/tea. I like the cartons that have the safety plastic screw cap but not all dairy cartons come with the screw top. I like to be able to store the carton on top fridge shelf but can't do that unless the carton has the screw top. This solved my problem, holds a bit more than a full pint of half & half & looks better than a cardboard dairy carton on the dining table. So far the seal seems to indeed be leak-proof. The service of the seller is great, got a great helpful follow-up E-mail from them. That is what I call great customer care & service! They offer spare screw caps (in various colors) & silicone grip. Think I will consider buying a couple extra caps & a couple of the silicone bottle covers. UPDATE: I just love the two bottles I bought for storing my dairy half & half creamer in fridge. They can be stored upright or on their side because the lids are leak-proof. Due to space limits & full apartment size fridge, I store mine on its side on top shelf. I am also very glad for the follow up info from Practico about the spare screw-tops & silicone covers available. I ordered 4 extra screw-tops & a set of 2 silicone bottle covers (white & blue). These bottles, screw-tops & covers are terrific, great design with bottles even having content measurement marks on the bottle. I would buy or recommend these in a heartbeat. Great design, product & customer service. I only wish I had need for more & the space to store. I keep one filled in fridge & clean one ready to use in the cabinet when I've used up the half & half from the bottle in fridge. They also look nice on the table for serving instead of a milk carton. They would not only be great for folks who juice, but also for storing salad dressings & other homemade liquid condiments.

It's good to say goodbye to plastic

These are great: Arrived exactly as pictured and I like the simple, stylish design. I bought these after reading about chemicals in plastic. I mainly bought water in plastic bottles to use during exercise and these glass bottles are a great replacement. They're heavier than plastic, of course, so you have to made adjustments for that and be more careful. They're also very slippery if you go for a walk or run outdoors (especially if you have sunscreen on your hands), so I had to invest in a water bottle carrier for my outdoor workouts. The mouth of the glass bottle is wider than a traditional plastic bottle and that takes a bit of getting used to. But I feel so much better drinking out of glass than plastic, plus it's better for the environment. One note: the seller gives confusing instructions about washing the cap. The product description on Amazon says, "Hand wash caps. Heat from dishwasher may cause parts of the caps to come off," but the instructions that come with the bottles say the caps are dishwasher safe. I just hand wash the cap, but the seller needs to get consistent about this.

Quality glass bottles

Excellent quality bottles at a comparable price. I have ordered 3 different brand bottles and these are hands down the best quality. I realize how much nicer the glass was while washing a bunch of bottle the other day. I could tell each time which bottle I was washing just by the weight and feel. Besides the glass quality the cap are a good size and seem to be holding up without any issues (I only hand wash the caps). The bottles also have cup measurements, which aren't necessary for my needs but I can see where they would be handing for someones keeping track of calories or for mixing. I will only order these bottles in the future.

A rare five-star item

The cons of these bottles: -Scratches on all bottles (I received a replacement, but they also had scratches). They are minor and not noticeable if you're not a perfectionist. -Warping (appears inside the bottle and disappears when there's a beverage). Completely expected, and it's mentioned on their page Pros -Clear glass. Such a clean-looking and critical point of bottles. Trust me, yellowish tint doesn't seem that severe, but clear, non-yellowish glass is really nice to look at in comparison. -Durable. Dropped into sink, knocked over on a wooden table twice, and nothing's cracked or broken. -Gorgeous design. Curvature at the neck is really precise and complimentary of the round and equally precise look of the caps. The caps are made of a brushed metal and don't have any scratches on them. -Easy to clean. The rubber part of all the caps had dirt on their inner parts, so make sure you take that out before drinking! I use a chopstick. It's actually really easy to remove if you do a quick circular motion while pressing on any fixed area in the rubber. The cap's a tight fit to scrub with fingers, though, so a tool would be necessary. I only use them for water, so I have NEVER needed to clean it (wooh). -Ounce markings. -Reasonable, 1.5" drinking mouth. -Great customer service (free bottles if defective)
