Fast and accurate charger!

Just got this battery charger and I'm very pleased. I had an old charger that was probably used by me for 10+ years and it was giving up the ghost. Saw this one for under 10 dollars and so far it has been great. I really, really like the LED screen that shows exactly how much juice each battery has. It works independently for each battery up to 4 different batteries. I use this mostly to charge the rechargeable AA batteries I use in my Xbox Once controllers. I have some pretty high capacity AA batteries and this charger is so much faster than my last one. What would have taken half a day now is done in just a few hours. Very happy!

LOVE IT! Must have!

If you are like me, I quit buying disposable batteries ages ago - I feel like my social responsibility has stepped up now that I am 'renewable.' Anyway, it's great! I have a few small things that use AAA batteries, such as my FireTV remote and my Bose headphones. I also have rechargeables for my AA batteries for other remotes and my Xbox One controller. It is great! I leave batteries on it all of the time because it is smart enough to know when they are full, and the handy info cluster let's you know how much juice you have in case you're in a pinch. Batteries charge reasonably quick too! Overall, highly recommend!

This works really well. It is better than the simple charger that came with my Enerloop batteries. With that one I had to charge two at a time and it had a very minor buzz that became annoying to me. This one charges odd numbers of batteries, is silent, and provides a charging meter that gives an idea of progress beyond just a simple light. The only negative I’ve come across is that the display can be difficult to read if the charger is placed upside down in the outlet.

Very nice battery charger

My first impression was high quality. Took it out, looked at it all around and was very satisfied with the craftsmanship. I really love the fact that you can charge 1, 2, 3, or 4 batteries at a time. Most chargers will only charge even numbers. It also has a charging display for each individual battery that's being charged - this makes it easy to see how the charging progresses. Charging time feels pretty fast although I haven't zoomed in on this. The only dislike I have is that when it's time to pull out the batteries (AAA size) from the charging bay, it could feel a little frustrating. Because of its compact size, the batteries lay pretty close to each other and so you either pull it out from the top with your fingernails (if they are long enough) or use something like a small flat screwdriver. I tried to demonstrate this on my pics. The larger AA batteries are easier to pull out. Aside from that, it's a perfect buy. I just bought mine so I can't speak of its durability.

I'm revising my original review upon EBL reaching out to me regarding my experience with their rechargable battery charger. The first one I had did not work properly. EBL sent me a new charger free of charge for my honest review. I am very happy to say that this charger worked perfect. It performed as it should and does a very good job at charging my batteries and quite quickly. I have son who plays Xbox a lot and goes through batteries like nobody's business. These EBL batteries and charger are perfect for keeping up with the demand! Thank you EBL for caring about your customers and making good on your product!

EBL LCD Smart Individual AA AAA Rechargeable Battery Charger for Ni-MH Ni-CD.

I have been using this charger for about a week now. I purchased it to replace a different EBL unit that I gave to a friend. This one seems to work well. Neither the charger not the batteries get hot during charging, just warm. This is good because excessive heat indicates overly aggressive charging which shortens battery life. EBL makes good high capacity batteries and chargers. I recommend them for anyone looking for a good performing product at an affordable price point. UPDATE 4/29/18: The charger is still working as it did out of the box. Highly recommended.

If You Charge AA/AAA Nicad/Nimh Batteries, You Need This Charger.

This is a quality charger, well worth the 'extra' cost compared to other chargers. It's "smart" in the sense that it will properly charge batteries that have different levels when charging is started. The charger takes a few seconds to gauge the charge levels of batteries when they are first inserted, then the LCD icons will show the individual charge levels for each battery. The charging process continues until the icons show all batteries are fully charged. When a battery reaches full charge, it no longer receives charging current while the remaining batteries continue to receive charging current until each in turn reaches full charge at which point the current for that battery is stopped. I performed a quick test of the chargers capabilities by first charging four AA nimh batteries from my camera in an inexpensive charger from Digital Concepts. When that charger indicated all the batteries were fully charged, I inserted them in the EBL charger and after s few seconds, the icons indicated one battery was fully charged while the remaining three showed various levels of incomplete charge. It took about 20 minutes to bring them all up to full charge What it doesn't do (and I'm not aware of any AA/AA nicad nimh charger that does) is "condition" the batteries by first depleting any charge in the individual batteries, then charging them. One minor nit to pick is if you plug the charger into a wall outlet down close to the floor, you have to get your eyes down to the level of the charger in order to read the icons. A highly recommended product that ships fast and even contains detailed instructions--which you probably don't need--except for the procedure that you install the batteries in the charger before plugging it in.

I have several of these.Most were bought with a set of the ebl2800 mah aa nimh batteries.Love the chargers,and love the bbatteries.I only gave he batteriesa4 star review,because they are not exactlyaa size.As a result,they dont fit in all devices.I have no complaints at all about the batteries performance.If they fit in your device,Inheartily recommend them.Both the ebl batteries and the chargers.In fact I just gave my son in law one of the chargers with four of the ebl 1100mah aaabatteries.The company is great to deal with too.I strongly recommend the company,and the products

So far this charger is working just the way I have always wanted one to work. So many times I've wanted to charge only one battery but had to have two batteries for the charger to work. This charger not only charges a single battery at a time but does so with a visual indication of each battery you have in the charger from one to four. This charger fast charges each battery then drops to a trickle charge till each individual battery is fully charged. Now I can only hope it lasts forever.

Love this charger

Love this charger. Easy to insert and remove AA and AAA batteries, with individual charging progress clearly shown for each battery. I go through a lot of recharging cycles while using AA and AAA batteries for photography, camping, kids toys and other uses. I find this trickle charger allows rechargeable batteries to hold their voltage and charge better than many other brands of chargers have used over the years. This charger works with any Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd (rechargeable) AA or AAA battery. It is a trickle (overnight) charger, but this type of slow charging allows the batteries to be recharged more times and maintain the proper voltages longer, than fast or quick chargers.
