Stunning Clarity and Great Value!

This was a full out of pocket purchase (so many reviews were required for a reduced item price) so my review is quite unbiased. I have used a hydrometer for years, but with tiny bubbles on the floater arm I was doubtful of the results. I read many reviews to find a refractometer that was a good value. I must say that this was a surprise for its ease of use and quality feel. (I had to figure out how to calibrate it, but it was obvious.) The biggest impression left on me is the stunning clarity of the above readings. It's actually fun to use this and the readings seem very accurate and consistent. I highly recommend this!

I bought this to measure the Salinity in my Saltwater Aquarium. The product came as described with all information needed to calibrate. The readings are accurate. Best price I was able to source, my local fish store was selling these at triple the price. Overall very happy, THUMBS UP!

On the dot reading EVERYTIME?

I like it very much compare to the hydrometer I'd been using for years. Still, certain steps to make sure utmost accurate reading are many compare to hydrometer. But I do want accurate reading, don't I? Just one question: whether this refractometer was rigged or my fish store's saltwater is on the dot everytime. Which one?

Accurate high quality instrument. Love it!!

I have a lico tank and maintaining salinity is very important. This does what its supposed to and seems like a high quality instrument. Takes the guesswork out of sality monitoring. I love it. Would definately reccomend.
