Perfect for my super active baby!

I love love love this high chair! My daughter (1 yr) is VERY active and loved to stand up in her old high chair (a hand-me-down, Amish-made, wooden high chair with no straps). With this chair she stays in place and enjoys sitting with us during dinner. For some reason she does not struggle with the straps either. Normally she hates being strapped into anything, including her car seat, but somehow with this high chair she calmly waits for me to strap her in and lounges as she feeds herself. I also love how easy it is to remove and clean the table. I can't wait to try it out at a restaurant. It seems as if most restaurants don't clean the seat straps and some of them look moldy and questionable. With this chair we will be able to strap her into the chair next to us and eat comfortably, without struggling with an acrobat baby!

What a wonderful high chair

This highchair is a great buy, we have two boys one 7 months and one 2 years and 5 months old. We have a more traditional highchair someone gave us for our first son, but honestly I wish we just had two of these. My two year old can climb in and out of his little brothers high chair. It goes on very easily so when the kids aren't using the high chair and we need the chair back it comes right off and re-attaches just as easily with just two clips. It feels secure and stays in place even when my 28 lb 2 and a half year old climbs in and out of it and the chair it is on is not particularly heavy Clean up is very easy, the cover can be machine washed (we haven't yet, I will update this review it we do and it destroys it) you can also buy additional cloth covers. The only thing that could improve this high chair is if the tray had a removable top tray that inserts on it. My son's full high chair has this and it is very handy when I give him waffles in the morning or something kind of messy. Regardless I would purchase again and would recommend this to a friend hands down

Great chair

First, this is exceptionally easy to put together. You don't even need to read the instructions. Literally took about 5 minutes. The cover comes off very easy to clean. The only issue is the clearance to a table if you have a vertical Lip under the table you may not be able to push this close enough to the table for a toddler. My 19 month old can reach the table but there is a solid 6 inch gap where food gets dropped even with a bib with the catch cup. It does come with a tray to function as a high chair but using as a booster seat can be tricky if you have a table where the seat can't be pushed close. It has a lap belt and also shoulder straps to keep kids in which is good and the straps that attach to the chair are very secure. I have chairs that are padded and not really flat and this chair fits well and does not slide.

Love this chair

Love this chair! We had another Fisher-Price seat (the Healthy Care seat), but it just didn't quite give enough trunk support for our kiddo. He has excellent head control, and is prop-sitting, but not independently sitting. With this seat, he can focus on eating/ fine motor work, rather than also trying to maintain trunk stability. It easily straps to our kitchen chairs- we have smaller-ish seats, but this fits just fine. However, you would need to loosen the back strap in order to change the recline of the chair, as the back strap snugs it tight against the chair back, preventing the seat from moving at all. Not a big deal- I can't imagine needing to change the recline angle frequently for one child- just change it as they're ready to be more upright. For kiddos with even less trunk control, the recline would be a nice feature. 5-point harness gives good security.My Developmental Specialist PSA- please, no solids before 6 months of age! If you have a young infant, this seat is still great for doing some upright playtime!

So good I bought 2!

Best high chair we've found. I bought two! I only have one daughter but she's at an in home day care. She has chunky thighs and stopped fitting in the Bumbo the daycare provided. Since she'd be eating soon I just bought her this so she's have a mobile place to sit and could be fed as well. I loved it so much I bought one for our home (we already had a highchair someone purchased for our shower). I use it multiple times a day, weather she's eating, or I'm cooking/cleaning and she wants to be in there with me. The cover comes right off to throw in the was and it's super easy to assemble, six small screws and one thing to snap into place and you're done.

Liked it so much we bought it TWICE!

We bought one of these for our first born child and it worked so well from day one that we figured Fisher Price had perfected the compact high chair so why doubt them in the future. Then two years later, with our second child, we opted to buy the newer version from Fisher Price with it's space saving tray and we were disappointed with how flimsy the tray was and the lack of space it provided for our child to enjoy their food. After all, the smaller the tray the more food that ends up on the chair and floor from a playful baby. So we checked Amazon and saw that this older model is still available and jumped at the opportunity to buy it again. It was so easy to install that I was able to unbox it, fasten 6 screws and strap it to the chair in less time than it took to bake a frozen pizza! Highly recommend this high chair!

Best highchair out there!

I absolutely LOVE this high chair! We had this same one with my oldest and have now bought a second for our younger child. I love that this attaches to an existing chair instead of taking up up a ton of space as a stand alone high chair. The cover and straps easily detach to be thrown in the washing machine. We take this whenever we travel since it's small enough to fit easily in our van and that way we don't have to worry about if there will be a high chair at the grandparents'/camp/hotel/etc. that we can use. It reclines back and has a 5 point strap system so you can use it when they are tiny and not sitting up/holding their head up. And then you can continue using it as a booster scooted up to the table without the tray, so it really is perfect from birth until they can sit in a big chair on their own. It was very easy to assemble - I did it on my own while my husband was at work and usually I wait for him to do anything that has to do with tools! I can't say enough good stuff about this chair. Every new parent should get this instead of of a "traditional" high chair!

Great chair!

I've read through some reviews and I find a couple of them laughable. First of all, there are 2 different clip sizes, but they have matching ends... there is one size for the bottom chair strap and a different size for the back chair strap. Secondly, a reviewer posted a video about the seat coming off of the base... THERE ARE SCREWS TO SECURE IT TO THE BASE. Use them!! The instructions explicitly state to screw it into the base feet. It's sad that people don't read instructions and then blame the product. It was simple to assemble and fits great on the chair. I like not having to find extra room for a traditional high chair. High chairs in general are kind of annoying but this one is no more difficult than others. You do need 2 hands to remove / attach the tray but not a huge deal. I like that the tray has a spot to hook toys to so they can't throw them down. My son still likes to sit there and play since he's only 7 months.

I love it! BUT there is always a but right

I love it! BUT there is always a but right??? This is the same complaint you will see in all the reviews the cover is not plastic or vinyl...so if you got a messy baby or parent...you will be washing this constantly... Otherwise~~~ it is perfect. Easy to put together and install.

I have this chair for almost a month now and it is so easy to clean

I was in doubt because the other reviews were complaining about how much they have to clean it. I have this chair for almost a month now and it is so easy to clean. My daughter never complain while in the chair. I'm really happy with it; don't take a lot of space, easy to clean and cheap compared to the other ones with good reviews.
