I am ecstatic that my fiesty 1month old loves this! She sat in it quietly even without the batteries until I got them, as I didn't purchase them together which was silly in my behalf. But when I got them I put the swing on low with the nature sounds & she fell asleep in less than 5mins! She's spoiled to the core already being the youngest grandchild & niece amongst all boys! They hold her so much I thought I would be doomed. But this swing works like a charm. I caught it at $50 but now that I have it I would definitely recommend it to anyone if it's out of your price range because it's worth it.

Love it!

I'm very happy with the purchase of this swing. It was easy to setup/put together. It does take C batteries, which I read in a review that it will eat the batteries up. I have not got to use the swing yet as my baby girl has not arrived yet so I cannot comment on that at this time. I will edit my review in the future when she actually uses the swing. Overall, I'm happy with the material and softness. It is easy to fold up and fits perfectly under a standard size baby bed! It is well made and I don't see any issues other than the future buying of many C batteries haha! Edit: I wanted to come back and update my review. It doesn't suck the batteries as you would think. My daughter used it until she got too big for it and loved every minute. The music that it plays is really nice. 10/10 would buy again.

I absolutely love this swing. This swing was purchased for my third baby. I take it everywhere with me. The vibrate option on this swing really works well. I've had some other seats and swings that vibrate but hardly do anything. Different swing speeds and music options. I would rank this right up there with my momma roo. Definitely worth every penny

Portable and awesome

I love this swing. It is so nice to be able to take it around the house, on the porch, or anywhere. It makes a great seat when it is hooked in, or swing. It’s super compact and I find we use it more than the big swing we have since we can move it around.

And the skeptical is no longer skept.

I'm one to return many things and I actually was skeptical about this swing especially since the price was out of my range. But, baby goes back and forth to grandparents and Mommy's home so I needed something portable. I'm so glad I ordered this, it is not like the typical $30-$40 swings you find in Target or Wal-Mart. It senses baby's weight and folds very compact to put in your car trunk or back seat. The different speeds in my opinion are slow, medium and freakin fast. My baby is 1 month old and could only fall asleep in a human being's arms but this.. Oh I witnessed droopy eyes and open mouth on a hot humid day in O'ahu and she completely knocked out. My $80 was worth it after all.

Affordable & works great!

I’m using this for a 5 month old & it works great. I have no issues with it keeping up as she grows. She is now 6 months & still loves this swing. The music & vibration buttons are great. I looked at all different types of swings & glad I settled on this one. I also like how compact it is & I can stick it in the closet when not needed. If your looking for a swing , I recommend this one. The price is well worth it & affordable.

Massive Love!

I have nothing but a massive love for this Fisher Price Deluxe Take Along Swing! My husband works shift work, and is not with us a lot of the time, which means mommy is forever taking little bit all over the house in a bouncy that she hates. We do own a large Fisher Price swing, but it's not easily movable, especially with me being such a tiny female with the arm muscles of a gnat, and leaving her in there while I'm in another room cleaning for a long period of time freaks me out. Yes, I own a monitor, but I can't help it. Call it the new mother syndrome. But besides that this is IDEAL for my family who watches her for me! Assembly isn't much to complain about at all unlike large swings with tons of pieces, then one basically comes with four screws, so have a Phillip's handy, the legs, a bar to steady the legs in the back, the seat, and the top. That's it. And putting it together was a breeze! Simply rotate the legs backwards until you hear a click, insert the bar until it clicks in the holes provided, attach the top piece with the two animals until you hear a click, attach each side of the seat with the screws provided, push down the seat, attach the side buckles up top, make sure the harness is the length needed, and add batteries. Seriously, this was the most easiest assembly of all her baby stuff! I was mostly worried when I purchased this, not about the battery consumption, but of how well it would swing with a ten pound two month old in there as my little bit loves to swing wildly, and gives me a look of full retaliation if it's too slow for her liking. Happily the portable swing works perfectly, and has six swing settings from barely moving to a nice momentum that does remind me of almost her full setting on the large swing. We use five, and this is perfect for her, and she loves it! The seat itself is soft and plush and so comfy for her, and the harness is the same material and kind as her big Fisher Price swing, and it works great also. What I really like about this is you can use the vibrations on this seat at the same time it's swinging. It's a little too much for my child, but I think that's a really nice feature. On the bottom of the swing is another buckle, that, when not in swing mode, can attach to the front of the device, and act as a seat. The vibration feature can be used with this as well. There are also a multitude of sounds and music such as literal melodies and nature sounds like a babbling brook and there is also a volume button to determine how loud or soft you'd like it to play. When I do start the swing, I will say I give it the tiniest push to get it started, which works when you have a fussy infant that's ready to be rocked NOW. The other feature I love on this is its portability! All you have to do is push the two pink buttons on the bottom back of the swing, and rotate the bottom piece until it folds upward. This swing is so light I can easily pick it up one handed and trot it to another spot around the house or pack it in the vehicle for a trip. Because of it's portability it is super low to the ground, but that is to be expected. The seat and insert are washable so that's an added bonus, and they both come off very easily for that purpose. This does require C batteries, and when I purchased this I did buy some professional batteries. As we've only had this for a few days I'll update at a later date to see how long a set of batteries last. I do wish it came with a wall outlet as well as being able to use batteries, but other than that this is a wonderful swing, and I recommend it for everyone! I wish I had known they had such a thing earlier as this would've saved me a lot of headache! **Update** After having this a few months now, my daughter is five months weighing a healthy 15 pounds, and is still able to use this with ease! The swing still works like normal, moves just as quickly as it did before, and the professional batteries I bought are awesome! We don't use this all the time, just when we travel, or go to people's houses, and I've literally changed the batteries once with the professional grade ones. That's it! I will say, sometimes the swing appears to go slow, and not as fast as it did, then suddenly it starts going it's normal swing mode. That's the only difference I see! It does make some noise, I did forget to mention that, but it's not horrible, just the normal noise of the motor. Again, it still works like a charm, my daughter still loves it, and we've taken it on many trips, and it's been so helpful!

Super cute

Hello, first off I got it sooner than expected so that was awesome. Super cute product assembly was a little difficult just because the screws were not really fitting into the holes but it wasn't that bad. See the video for some more info overall I love it.

What the heck was I doing before this?!?!?

This swing has been a life saver for us. A little one that can be restless and super fussy, this swing helps to calm her and helps her to really rest in the afternoon. The quality is excellent, with 2 safety belt options, multi levels of swinging speeds, and multi sounds and sound volume levels. The swing is easy to use and put together. Love that this product is compact and the easy folding up for travel. I wish we would have had this with our first child. I would choose this over a large bulky swing that takes up a lot of space in the living room..

Lifesaver, when my baby is cranky I put her there and in no time she’s happy looking up and falls asleep. Researched many of these but this one had the best reviews. It’s easy to store as it folds and easy to take to grandmas or on a trip. Would highly recommend.
