I absolutely love this product! It is a great price too! My 11 week old boys can be safe in the kitchen while we are at work during the day without getting into chemicals underneath the sink, knocking over and eating the trash/recycling or chewing on the cabinets themselves! It is also light enough to break down and set back up around their crate for bed time at night! I'm actually putting it in another order because of the great price and so that I don't have to break it down and set back up again. They will be awesome for when we move from our apt to a house with 2 yards so that we can section off or have specific areas for them and know that they are safe! Best pet is best!

Couldn't ask for better!

The price on this is unbelieveable! It's a great playpen for small dogs. The weight might not hold a larger dog. It's super light weight, but strong. It comes already assembled and if you want to use only certain panels, you DO have to have wire cutters and pliers to get the panels apart. Which I did!! It was too tall for me to bend over it to grab my puppy, so I took one of the panels out and turned it sideways to make it shorter. Opening and closing the gate every time was not practical. Too time consuming. So turning the the panel sideways was the easiest way to give me easy acess to the puppy

Not much to say - well made and should be very durable

I got this to help me "housebreak" my new puppy - so far she hasn't gotten the "hint", but it was worth a try. My problem may well be that I have a more mature (at least in age) dog and she just has the run of my back yard (which is fenced in). If a "playpen" for a dog is what you are looking for, this seems like a very good value. It's not made of stainless steel (nor could it possibly sell for under $30 if it was, but the black paint is very thick and very nicely applied - it should keep the pen from rusting outside for much longer than any puppy should ever be in training to be housebroken. I live in the desert (Las Vegas), so it's conceivable that this playpen could last forever without rust! But I moved here from Florida and I'd be just as confident in this thing's durability there as I am here. Very fast shipping (at least with a Prime membership).

---This is a great little pen

I have owned this for over nearly 9 months. We have used it as a little pen, and currently to replace the broken short wall/gate of our chain-link fencing. ---This is a great little pen. As a pen it works great I just lifted our 8 year old, 15 pound Brussel Griffon in and out instead of using the latches. Once when she was having stomach issues I clipped it to her crate in the garage where she could move about but the smell and ick was somewhere I could clean up easily. ---I may replace the latches for ones that work easier at some point just so it is simpler to in and out of the fence. A major plus now is that I was able to shape it around the flower bed, so out Little dog won't play in the growing plants. I may even a second one to protect the other garden.

I had custody of a 50 lb wild hound/pitt mix girl for a several days and this pen worked perfectly. I took advice from other reviewers and stapled the bottom to the baseboards so she wouldn't overturn it, and knowing that this dog climbed like a monkey (who knew that dew claws are as good as thumbs??) I also zip tied Critterfence to the top to keep her in. I included a large crate into the mix. The box was damaged so only 3 clips survived, no problem, this entire rig was zip tied together. This worked!! The only negative I saw was that the door did not have a wire at the bottom for support so I had to get down on the floor to open the bottom door hitch. A little awkward at my age first thing in the am, but not a deal breaker by any means. The crate door opened to the right, so into the opening of the pen. I loosely zip tied it so it would not bang closed, and it actually helped keep her from barging the pen door until she learned wait, which she did. Seriously, this is the bomb. It worked. Yes, kinda an eyesore for the living room, but if you are into rescuing animals, you already don't care. And its the perfect size for housebreaking. Love it. Love it, love it. This dog's life may have been saved because she spent time in this controlled environment without the high stress environment of kids teasing her. If nothing else, she was spayed, cared for during her recovery, trained and loved while she was here. You do what you can. This is what Ian Dunbar would want you to get.

Perfect for a rabbit cage

My rabbit is very active, so I attached this to her current playpen. It works out perfectly since I can still access the shorter part of her 3x3 pen. I used the baby links to attach it to the original pen for a total area of 21 square feet. I use a $20 rug from Lowe's as the flooring. I've attached a photo of the xpen by itself where it has 16 square feet. This is the best option if you have a rabbit!

Keeps my kittens away from the gas stove!

These fence pieces are great! While you get 8 panels, if you get creative you can take them apart by pulling the metal clips off and leaving just the amount of panels you need. For my project I only needed 3 panels around my fireplace and then I added one more panel to lay across the top. I used the little plastic clips that came with the pet kennel to hold the top to the 3 panels. All of this is to keep my 2 sphynx kittens from climbing under, behind and on top of my gas stove fireplace plus I still wanted to see and feel the fire. It works because the slots in the panels are only 2" wide so the cats can't squeeze through (and these cats are tiny)! I'm adding one more step by weaving some ribbon through the top panel just in case the cats get brave and jump on top. I don't want their legs falling through. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Multi-use

Every one of the reviews was using it as a pet pen...I bought it to keep my toddler and cat away from the Christmas tree. Worked like a charm. Light weight...folds flat...great price.

Keeps Pup Safe and Out of Trouble

This was a great purchase. 2 mornings after we brought our 6 week old lab pup I was desperate and ordered this! We've even wrapped it around our Christmas tree to keep her from it. I've hooked it to her crate to give her a yard. You can fold the wall panels in to make it smaller. She's 16 weeks now and as loyal to this pen as she is her crate. We leave it open and she'll go in it to sleep on her own. Highly recommend this product. I'm glad I went with the 30 inch. The clips that come with it are a choke hazzard. She chewed right through one so I grabbed better ones from home depot...not a big deal! Our older dogs are crate trained and they go in it too to rest!

this fence was exactly as expected. our puppy grew so fast the inside area soon became too small for him. but we have now begun using it as a make shift gate between rooms. it was not intended for that, but the dual uses make it an even better purchase. the panels swing both ways so manipulation to change the shape and storage are super easy.
