This monocular costs more than many, but when I used it last night to look at Jupiter and to find its moons, I was pleasantly surprised. For objects like the moon or Jupiter, the higher power options make a big difference. Being able to spot the Galilean moons so close to the planet was very satisfying. And the 50mm objective lens really helps with astro targets. Just be aware that when looking for things in the sky, a photo tripod makes a world of difference -- the view is too shaky above 10-12 power. Have also found that Orion's Precision Slow Motion adapter helps immensely at higher powers. Finally, one caveat -- when looking for things near the zenith, monoculars really don't work well, the angle is just too awkward unless you can lie down and find a way to stabilize the monocular above you. That's when a telescope with diagonal or a reflecting telescope make a big difference. The biggest advantage of monoculars like these over basic astro scopes is their extreme portability. You can pack this in a jacket pocket, a pocket tripod in another pocket --- and you're virtually set. If you're going on a long hike somewhere, bringing one of these along is not hard to do.

Super clear and great power. Good Light gathering too. It is a great compact spotting scope. Well worth them money.

Absolutely best monocular for the $$. Had returned a cheaper monocular before getting this... Great power & well made durability. If you buy cheap, you'll get cheap. Again, best for the money!

This is a great monocular telescope. I ordered it to leave in my car for birdwatching. I have another from this company which I leave near my birdwatching window. I also have Eyeskey binoculars for birdwatching. These monoculars and the binoculars are excellent quality and value. I’m very satisfied and have recommended them to friends.

I've very pleased with my purchase of the Eyeskey 10-30x50 Zoom Monocular. I've been using it a few times per week for about a year. The 50mm lens lets in lots of light to see lots of detail, and the zoom really comes in handy. I was concerned that the 10x minimum magnification would be too much, but I haven't had a problem with locating what I want to see or stability. It's durable and has a nice balance. If you need to zoom, this is the monocular for you.

Got these for the in-laws and they used them the day we got them, and I haven't seen them since. The monocular I mean. I see the in-laws all the time. Who knows what blackhole bi & mon-oculars fall into, but lord help the in-laws when I find out. I'm just kidding, I love the in-laws.

This is one awesome eyepiece I will love it I have a few different ones but this is the one for me if you’re looking for something that will get it right near I bring it up close clear as can be I look out at the Monterey Bay I see the whales I see the boats it’s beautiful thank you for such a wonderful product ...mike

This is a very good monocular equipment. The imagesare are very clear and crisp. The magnification up to 30X is great in good light but not so crisp in poor light. Especially if you are watching small objects at a great distance. I love the studiness and portabilty

The optics seem to be very good for an economic glass
