Nice solid feel and work perfectly out of the box.

Nice heavy feel and positive lock/click on all the vehicles I have with R134A (08 Mustang, 06 Escape, 13 VW turbo Beetle, 11 Nissan Maxima, and 97 Toyota Camry). I purchased these to replace the old and worn out ones that came with my manifold gauge set. One of the issues I've come across with other brands is that the nub that is supposed to engage the valve core to open the AC valves on the vehicle, are not long enough or are not adjusted properly to actually engage the AC valve core, therefore you can't get a reading on the gauges or get a delayed reading on the gauges. These worked perfect out of the package and have now replaced my old quick release fittings with my manifold gauge set.

This is a quality product. They fit my aging gauge set so I didn't need to buy new gauges. The adapters supplied allow them to be used with even older R12 gauges. I would recommend them to auto techs and DIYers alike.

Replacements For Lower Quality Adapters (Harbor Freight)

I bought these to replace the adapters that came with my Harbor Freight A/C manifold gauges. The HF units wouldn't work reliably. Sometimes they wouldn't allow any air/gas to pass through them. They also wouldn't work at all on some vehicles because the valve depressor in the middle was not long enough or they were created with them too high in the assembly. These new adapters work great. They have worked each time I have connected them and are designed correctly to open the valves in vehicles that have the valve core farther down in the fitting. With the HF version, I would have to pay close attention to see if they were actually flowing or if I was just creating vacuum in my manifold hoses. These don't have that problem.

Im a EPA certified HVAC-Technician,i use guages for air conditioning and refrigeraters,but the hoses couldnt fit on a automobile air conditioner,with these,you can hook up your HVAC guages to these and the quick coupler adapter hooks easly to the low and high side ports on a car to check pressure readings on guages and charge refrigerant to low side port.these adapters work perfect,very good product.thanks

Good R134A Coupling Service Valves for R134A Manifold Gage Set.

Service couplings on the hoses used with A/C Manifold Gage Sets do not last forever. It was time to replace the ones that I had with a new set of coupling service valves, which are far less expensive than purchasing a new manifold gage set or a new set of hoses that have the service valves installed. I've now used the new service valves several times with no problems at all. They appear to be well made, the price was good, and the items arrived right on schedule.

Exactly what I needed

Exactly what I needed. I had a set of gauges from a discount tool store and two years later my blue side (low pressure) fitting broke. It mounts and turns but the internal valve didn’t open anymore. These were higher quality than my original ones and seem stronger. I replaced and they worked flawlessly.

Compact and Solid

I like the compact size of these A/C R134a adapters. they have a nice knurled handle to make it easy to open and close the valves even with oily hands. They are all metal in all of the required places, so no plastic handles to break.

I bought these when my 'basic' high pressure (red) connector/adapter would not secure to my car's service port. This Orion Adjustable worked great. I was able to connect to the car with the adapter 'closed'. Then, when on the car, I 'opened' the valve, which opened the car's high side to the gauge set. This is a nicer feature than one might imagine.

Good fit!

Just what I needed to adapt my old R12 gauges over to 134a. The adaptors are well made and worked perfectly on my car's AC system. The brass R12 nipples thread in easily and the female valve end has a rubber seal so no need for teflon tape. The open and close feature on the colored end of each adaptor work well but I just used the open/close handles on my gauges out of habit. The nice thing about these using these adaptors is you take them off and your gauges are ready for HAV work.

Great products

First off worked flawlessly would recommend anyone that works on cars to purchase these. Did see a few posts about them leaking from the adapter. I put a little thread tape on before snuging them up never leaked for me. They must have updated the design of the gnarled screw on top, because seen a few people say the writing was opposite of what it actually is.
